Rifle Just Arrived, June 15, 2009
    By ElkntheHighCountry from Westminster, CO

"Well my rifle got here on time. Pulled it out of the box and the butt pad was not atttched properly. I ended up unscrewing it and screwing in the screw with out the pad on then replacing and tightening up the pad. It is nice an snug now. The fit to the synthetic stock is not perfect.

With the camo finish the serial nubmer was a little obscured, but I was able to read it.

Can't wait to get it to the range, next week.

    Can't beat Thompson Center, March 18, 2009
    By Jason12702 from Windham NH

"This is a great black powder rifle. I am new to black powder but everyone (new and old) that has shot this gun loves it. I have converted my father in-law LONGTIME knight owner over to omega and that was just with 2 days of shooting. I bought the Camo Thumbhole Omega with the stainless barrel, the Sims recoil pad, Power t Handle from Thompson, and the Nikon Omega scope and I couldn't be happier. I went to the range dialed it in at 100 yards (6 shots) and I am ready to go. I called Thompson about the DVD and the breach plug and they sent me new ones free of charge. I received them in 2 days (although I live in NH). I use the Triple 7 with the shockwave and it is accurate and fun to shoot.

I went to the range with an buddy that has an omega without the Sims recoil pad and what a difference. I shot all day 50 rounds or so and felt great he had a big old bruise on his arm. Well worth the investment in Thompson will get right back to you over email and/or on the phone. The buddy mentioned above when out and dropped the gun and a little crack formed on the but end they took the gun in put a new stock, new trigger assembly and cleaned up the barrel for nothing. It is unbelievable to have a company stand behind there product. I would certainly recommend the omega to anyone looking.

The Nikon scope with BDC redical is unreal dial in at 100 yards and let the good time roll. As a package this was a lot more than I wanted to spend but man I am I happy I did. Also the T-Handle is great. I thought it was wasted money but you get the leverage without beating up on your hands.

Also I read about the thumbhole beating up your thumb not an issue. I had shoulder surgery so I went with the thumbhole and I love it. My wife shoots it as well and she loves it as well.

    Great Rifle, February 17, 2009
By DeermanVA from Front Royal VA

"This rifle is great, if you want a 50 cal. it is a rifle for you, I shot it only one day so far but I can not wait until I get the time to shoot more. The triger is great and the thumb hole is the key to this rifle. I look at all type of rifle and I am glad I pick this one. So far I shot it in at 100 yards and the grouping is about 1 inch with 100 GR. of triple seven and a 240 GR XPT bullet. I hope this help you if you are looking for a TC rifle"

    Great Buy, October 22, 2008
    By BUCKDOWN1 from Chester, Virginia

"The Camo Hardwoods ThumbHole Omega is the most accurate black powder rifle right out of the box I have ever experienced. I can not beleive how comfortable this gun is, with it's weight at only 7 lbs., it is so easy to bring to your shoulder, aim, and squeeze the trigger.
I wish I had purchased one earlier.

    TC Omega, October 15, 2008
    By DCKing from Indiana

"This is one of the finest rifles that I have ever owned. I can't wait to hunt with it. I do not recomend useing the (Shockwave
sabbots) as you will need a hammer in the field with you to load the darn things. I have muzzleloader hunted since 1974 and have never experanced anything like them. In fact I am
sending them back to Thompson Center.
Also the CD was so warped that it will not play.

    On Target, January 16, 2008
    By WhitetailGrimReaper from Lynchburg, VA

"Bought this rifle on sale just after the season. Needed to upgrade from the gun i started on, a Kinght Wolverine, so that i could hopefully gain the ability to shoot a little further. Bought the Nikon Omega scope to go along and using the suggested load for that scope i was shooting groups at 100 yds that had bullet (250 gr Shockwave) holes overlapping. Groups got bigger the farther i went, but all shots where in the kill zone out to 250 yds. And did i mention that the weather on range day was nasty....35 and rainy. Great gun, i would suggest it for anyone who wants more accuarcy at longer distances from their muzzleloader."

Hurry up Deer season!!!, October 30, 2007
    By CROW from Virginia

"Due to back stock on the all new TC Triumph I decided to get The omega. I topped this great gun with a Nikon Pro Staff scope. Shoots like charm. Loaded with 150 grains of pyrodex black powder pelets and TC shock wave super glide bullet. This thing is a cannon compared to my old knight. Very loud and kicks much harder than my shot gun but breaks in after the second shot. Took five shots to sight it in and now any deer that comes within 200 yards of me this saturday is dropping like a dish rag. Bought this gun cause I wanted to reach out a little farther than my shotgun since I am in a shotgun and muzzle loader only area. With this gun it doesn't even make since, I know you can't kill a deer out to three hundred plus yards with it, but you might as well be shooting a rifle if the deer is within 200 yards cause the same thing happens. Groups are very tight at 150 yards, insures a responsible shot at this distance, no problem adding an extra 50 yards with the Omega!!
Muzzle loader season doesn't come in, intell saturday, I am taking my liltle brother hunting, I know that with this we will surely get one! Knife that it comes with is also great and very sharp. Thanks TC for such a great gun!
Thank you too cabela's for fast shipping and wonderful service, looking forward to ordering more of your top of the line products soon. THANKS ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!

    great gun, August 28, 2007
    By Jake9848 from Bluffdale, Utah

"This gun has been very accurate and easy to use. I have taken it to the range 4 times and each time have come back with 2" groups at 100 yards with 250 grain T/C Sabots and 2 Tripple Seven pellets with a 1X scope. I would recomend installing a limbsaver butt pad if you're going to shoot more than 6 or 7 shots."

One for the woods, November 24, 2006
    By MGZ1 from Blanchester, Ohio

"Finally a black powder rifle made for hunters. It's easy to clean and a pleasure to shoot. The camo thumbhole stock is synthetic and can stand up to the worst of conditions that often plague hunters. The primer is easy to load and unload and it's completly protected. My rifle is zeroed in at 100 yards. I have achieved 1" groups with 3 different bullet weights and types. Excellent gun."

    By JR50cal from Delta, CO

"The TC Omega is all I hoped for in a muzzle loader. The thumbhole stock fits me like a dream, it's lightweight and you can hold on a target like nothing I have ever used before. Easy to load and fire and with the loads I developed it is all a deadly combination. The camo stock and barrel was the perfect choice for me for overall concealment and good looks."

"This muzzleloader is the best I've had so far. The thumbhole grip fits the stock perfectly and the Hardwoods camo job is flawless. With the new Nixon Omega scope and 150 grains of powder this gun reaches out 200 plus yards with no problem. It's the last muzzleloader you'll ever have to buy."

    By Droptine12 from Baldwinsville, NY

"Great product, easy to clean, super accurate and easy to load
On the down side to load you have to attach a jag at the end of the ram rod to load which takes time, not convienant when in the woods
