WHITE HOTS ARE THE REAL DEAL!!!!,October 16, 2009
By EliteGT500shooterfrom Upstate NY
"been trying to tune my TC Prohunter all week w/ 777 and no luck. Shots were all over the place. Tried white hots and with 250gr TC Shockwave superglide and at 100 yards was sub MOA. Couldn't be happier. Would have given it 5 stars but had to clean between shots to keep the groups the best. However, I don't mind."

Shot My First Doe of the Season,October 5, 2009
By Coolcalifrom Moyock, NC.
"It only took me 5 shots to get my CVA accura Sited in. White Hots work great with 245 grain power belts. The best bullet and powder combination that I have used to Date. I Stalked a Doe to 50 yards and she dropped dead in her tracks. It was also raining pretty heavy and the weather did not affect the capability of the powder. Great Product."

Good powder,September 17, 2009
By outdoorkevfrom Iowa
"I have used almost every powder out there and my latest favorite was blackhorn but it is difficult to ignite in some inlines without breech plug modification. No problem igniting white hots. They have more power than triple seven but I don't think they are any cleaner. At the range you need to wet and dry patch between shots to maintain accuracy. I was expecting it to be cleaner but I would treat it the same as triple seven. If you keep it clean it shoots good. In my TC endeavor 150 grains of white hots with 290 grain knight EZ load it was around 1 1/4" group at 100yds and 3 3/4 in group at 200yds. And the ballistic reticles in the leupold ultimate slam were dead on with this load."

Great Powder!,September 16, 2009
By vahuntfish
"I recently purchased IMR white hots for my 77 year old dad. His hands shake and he can no longer pour loose powder without spilling some. I was so impressed with white hots at the range I've decided to use them myself. Very clean and very easy to use. The consistency is better than anything I've ever used or seen from shot to shot with a front loader. I've used pyrodex, 777, Mag3, and Blackhorn 209 over the past 18 years. For lose powder, I give the Mag3 a nod over the Blackhorn. All things considered, the White Hots are my top choice."

Whitehots,September 11, 2009
By zorconfrom Easton, PA
"I tried IMR's Whitehots in my Knight KP1 50cal inline. I started with two pellets shooting a 245gr Power Belt Aerotip bullet from 50 and 100 yards. I had 1" groups. At 200 yards I had 1 & 1/2'' groups. I had the same results using three pellets. I also tried 245gr Hollow Point Power Belts and got different results. At 50 and 100 yards I had 2 inch groups. At 200 yards I had three to four inch groups. I'll stick with the Aerotip. Clean up was easy in the barrel, but a different story in the lock mechanism. I guess it's the design of the KP1. I'll use Whitehots over black powder any day."

IMR White Hots,August 28, 2009
By jimeh
"I purchased IMR White Hots about a month ago and tried them right away. I was shooting a T/C Omega at a distance of 100 yards. The loads I used were 250 grain T/C Shock Waves and 2 White Hot pellets. I was amazed at the accuracy of these loads. I shot 9 rounds in 3 shot groups. I consistently shot sub 1"groups with the last 3 bullet holes touching. I only patched out the rifle one time after the fifth shot. Again I was amazed that I had no trouble loading between shots . Clean up was very easy. It took 2 patches and a bucket of hot water to get the bore clean. Incidentally I was shooting with two friends that day who were using various propellants in their T/C Encores. In just a little while they were both using my White Hots. They will be purchasing their own soon."

Clean pellets but not for Knight and Barnes sabots,March 1, 2009
By Shalkfrom Crown Point, IN
"Just tried these at the range with my hunting partner. He shot these out of a 50 cal Thompson Endeavor with 200 grain shockwaves and 2 pellets at 50yds and put them almost in same hole. Went to 100 yds and the were all over the place even with 3 pellets. Went to a 250 grain shockwave and 3 pellets and got less than sub 1 inch groups at 100yds.
I shot my 50 cal Knight Long Range Hunter with 290 grain knight SBTs EZ loads (Barnes bullets) and got perfect tumblers, tried 3 white hot pellets with only the same results. Never had such perfect sideways target holes. My gun just did not like them with that bullet. Tried a couple of the knight lead bullets that come with the rifle and 2 white hots and those shot fine. I then went to Black horn loose powder and got sub 1inch grouping at 100yds. I had been using pyrodex pellets before and got decent groups, but I think the loose powder is the way to go.
Seemed to work with the Thompson and the shockwaves but not the Knight LR Hunter and the barnes bullets. I think you have try different cocktails combinations for each gun and see what it likes."
