"This stick is ergonomic and compact and if it makes a bad guy jump as far as the cat when he hears it , the effectiveness will no longer be a question. I haven't found any one willing to be a test subject when they see it in action!"

"I hike a lot with my dog in somewhat secluded areas and sometimes I feel a bit uncomfortable because their are other hikers with vicious dogs and the owners have a difficult time controlling their dogs (the dogs look as though they are going to break loose and lunge for your throat), wildlife, and individuals that simply look out of place and suspicions. I've purchased several personal self defense products (pepper spray, dog repellent pocket, knife, etc) but never really felt safe until I received my Zap Stick stun gun. I haven't had to use it yet and hope I never do but just having it makes me feel way more comfortable then with any of my other self defense products. The sound of the stun gun is not overwhelming I but it does convey a message to any potential attacker IT MEANS BUSINESS!
I purchased the pink one and I think the color is great! Not only is it fashionable but hiking pass people on the trial they don't even notice it's a stun gun, its very compact and people just think it's either a IPOD, cellular phone, or pager.
I suggest any woman that is concerned with their safety should buy one!"

"I wasn't sure about this product until I tapped the trigger. The devise is slender and fits well to your hand. Their is a slide button on top to turn it on and the trigger button on the bottom fires the unit. I was going to let my wife try it on me to see if it really works, however; after firing the thing...I had second thoughts. This thing sounds like it could cook a turkey in 10 seconds flat. Impressive spark is greater than any commercial electric fence. I will let you know what it feels like when I get a little braver!"

"Haven't found anyone foolish enough to let me test it on them yet, but it makes a hearty spark when you mash the trigger. The included holster fell apart the first day I wore it."
