Pedersoli 209 Ignition Pistol,June 2, 2009
By FAskep
"The on-line catalog states that this pistol has " handsome hardwood grips". Really the grips are made of cheap plastic. The parts have a sloppy fit. All of this from a company with a good reputation and many nice products."

"I was surprised by the low quality workmanship of the 209 Derringer Ignition Pistol. Parts were either loose or did not stay on."

A Little Less Than Expected,May 6, 2009
By OklahomaTomfrom Kaufman, TX
"Having gotten used to the high quality of Pedersoli arms, I was a little disappointed in this one. It loads and shoots fine. However, finish is not up to standards, with some bluing damaged at the breech ejector and trigger. Biggest disappointment came with the "handsome hardwood grips" which turned out to be tan plastic with imprinted brown graining. I expected wood grips to be made of wood. Unfortunately, I did not discover they were plastic until after test firing it. Cleaning, I took off the "wood" to protect its finish and found it was plastic. Also came stuffed and sealed in a Remington Rider cardboard box, and was pretty bounced around inside the box since the cut out was not fitted to this pistol."

209 Derringer Ignition Pistol,May 3, 2009
By RogerIowa
"Seems extreamly well made and even has a serial number. The grips are plastic however and only look like wood. A lot smaller than one would thing. Shoots the BB. Not a target gun as no sights but a neat little toy. Shooting it has a sound of a small firecracker. Easy to load and unload. Comes with a loading tool, bore brush, instructions in several languages, and the usual warnings. Would be neat if they made a 5 shooter copying the old S&W Model 1. I am very happy with it. Had a 2 month wait for it however worth it. Roger Iowa"
