"This scope is great, I have sited it in one time. It is still dead on even after riding around in a truck for a year. I have it mounted on a browning 30-06 and they are an amazing pair"

Bright, clear and low mounting, September 10, 2009

"Purchased this scope to mount on my Tikka T3 using the incorporated scope rail and wanted a 50mm scope that could utiilize low rings. I haven't taken the gun into the field yet but it performed perfectly at the range, particularly during low light situations. Recent improvements to this model are noticeable. The only drawback is that Leupold's Alumina scope covers are the ony flip-up models available for this scope and they cost $99 regardless of where they're purchased. The scope did come with a neoprene cover which is fine for storage and transport but impractical for hunting situations, so I had to spring for the costly Alumina covers. Aside from the cover issue, it's an excellent, quality scope."

"I purchased the 6.5-20-56mm for my custom 300WSM. I liked the idea of a 56mm scope that would mount closer to the center-line of the gun. Finding the right mounts to take advantage of this (AKA leaving very little space between scope and barrel) is not a super easy proposition, but if you buy several heights and return the ones that don't fit...
The main problem is that it doesn't really let that much light through. My friends NF in similar power ranges was much clearer when shooting at a mulie at dusk this last year. I had trouble finding it, while he had no problems. I would buy another brand. But it is a good quality unit. Just no advantage to the "scoop" thingy..."
