"I was pretty impressed with this little unit. I was looking for a nice & easy to use portable fishfinder to use with my canoe, and this is it. Very user friendly and very portable. Has its own case that everything fits into nicely, large suction cup ( comes off the fibreglass sometimes in waves, but not too bad ), excellent screen size and great options. I've taken it out twice, right out of the box, and haven't even had to charge it yet. I'm very pleased with this purchase."

"This fish finder was easy to hookup and very user friendly. It took a couple of times to get the suction cup to stick "maybe because it was new and I ran out of spit” but I had no problems at all. The view finder is easy to read in any type of light and over all it is a great little unit and it would complement any type fishing adventure...."

"I used the piranhamax 160 portable fish finder this year ice fishing and found it to be adequate. I was mostly interested in finding the depth of crossing fish (lake i icefish is about 65 ft deep) and it was able to do that effectively.
The portability of the unit is very useful, and the case is very handy. I even dropped the unit off my 4 wheeler onto the ice and the handle/case system protected it very well.
I found the suction cup system worthless for use ice fishing so I had to build a small mount to hold the transducer in water. I have not used the fish finder on my small boat yet so don't know if the suction cup works for that or not."
