Looks Great!,

"Stacking-OK, Weatherproof-OK, Portable-OK, but durability may be an issue. I've purchased most of the brands and out of the box this one is the best. However, as others have noted the hinge system is what it is...We use this type of product to store and stack everything from sleeping bags to food products. We are in the rain most days and miles and miles down the trail. And, this is the best "box" we've found."

Very Flimsy,
October 6, 2009
By kruks

"This is not high-impact plastic! I was stacking other gear on the lid and it cracked in several places, very flimsy lid. I cannot for the life of me see how this is airport approved. We all know quite well how the airport handles luggage. This storage unit will crack; it’s only a matter of time."

Good Box,
September 30, 2009
By huntontario

"I like the box size and shape. The lid is a little flimsy. Don't over stuff it because the rear plastic hinge will bend. I would pay a lot more for a similar shaped box that was waterproof and had a more solid lid, hinge and clasps. Overall, for the money I paid I am happy with the box. love the fact that can easily go from truck to ATV to base camp."

footlocker flaw,
July 26, 2009
By summerscout
from new york, ny

"This was purchased this for my child to use as a footlocker at summer camp. It was everything we hoped for as far as storage space. My only disappointment was the way the lid attached. It is not very durable and 2 of the hinges broke before he even set up camp."

Best in Class,
June 25, 2009
By USAV8R

"The four latch system is much better than the other brand of trunks we use. The light weight is a blessing for carrying. Heavier duty would cost more and be heavier to carry. Apparently it is not designed as a seat. The lock locations are a little awkward to use. It is hard to fit a clip or lock into the holes. Adding a handle extension of parachute cord and PVC pipe makes it MUCH easier to roll with less stooping. We tried one of the Plano trunks on a recent mission trip through Northern Uganda. I have already bought another."

"THIS TRUNK WAS PURCHASED FOR BOY SCOUT CAMP. HE LOVED IT. BUT HE SAYS THE HOLES TO PUT THE LOCKS THRU WERE NOT CONVENIENT. I THINK THE TOP COULD BE MADE MORE STURDILY. BUT FOR THE PRICE IT WAS A GREAT BUY, WE WOULD BUY AGAIN."

Great for keeping mice out of your stuff!,
March 12, 2009
By deerhuntertyler
from Medford Minnesota

"I purchased one of these trunks to keep at the cabin for all of my gear that I keep there year-round. The Idea was that the mice (we have a big mouse problem at our cabin) would not be able to get into the trunk and wreck my gear. I left the trunk filled with 2 sleeping bags and pillows (Mice love chewing them up and usually only takes them 24 hours to find them and wreck them). 2 weeks later I came back, took the items out of the box, and they were untouched by mice! The trunk is made of strong plastic and has great stacking capabilities. The only reason it got 4 out of 5 stars is because the latches were not very good and It would be nice if it had a rubber seal around the top so it would be compleatly water proof."

A Great Product,
January 4, 2009
By Flyynsquirrel

"I bought one of these in Baton Rouge while doing power restoration from Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. I needed it to store my duffle bag of clothes in it in the back of my truck.Even though it does'nt claim to be waterproof I had no problems with all the rain I encountered... Wheels are a nice option that still work great..I would recommend this item to ANYONE...I LOVE mine and am planning on buying 2 more."
