"I have both Parka and pants of MT050 Goretax Scentlock insulated aparrel, got a chance to use then this season, in Central Mo. It was 22 degrees, freezing rain, spitting snow with gusting winds of 35 MPH. The only thing that got cold was my nose. Great! I will recommend them to anyone that will listen!"

"At 10 degrees and hunting in North Western Maine, was as good as it gets. "Still Hunting" was equally as comfortable and warm. Extremely waterproof and wind resistant. The first three days of my hunt last year November 2006 was pouring rain. No water penatrated! The temperature this year was in the single numbers and low teens with lots of snow days 12' +/-. Wool pants were worn since I started hunting in Jr. High School,1962! I'll never wear them again. I am very pleased with the purchase of the Gore-Tex MT050. The cost was steep but well worth the money. I'm still waiting for future seasons but I'm sure I'll not be disappointed. Thank You"

"Proof that you get what you pay for. These pants are expensive, but are by far the best product I've ever used. My father and I each hunted with a pair this year and were able to easily confront the harsh hunting conditions in the Canadian north. Rain, snow, wind were all very manageable with this product. I would like to end the noise debate over MT050 material by stating that we both walked up within 25 yards of a deer laying under a tree. You simply cannot do this with materials that make a lot of noise in the field. I will wear this product until the day I can no longer hunt. If it does everything that I ask of it, then why would I want anything else ??? Congratulations Cabelas on another outstanding product."

"I don't buy anything but MT050 for my outer hunting clothing. The gore-tex, zippered pockets, with scent lock and quiet outer shell shows it worth in the field under tough conditions. My whole family is strong believers and we have proven the worth of the Mt050 clothing from years of hunting from VA, CO, New Mexico, WI, and Alaska. We were in CO this year and a storm front came in and we were the only hunters left. Had just cow elk tags this year, but spotted a 5x5 and 6x6 with 3 cows and filled 1 of our tags, while some guys from CA were back at the truck cold and wet. Spend the money, you won't be disappointed."

"this is by far the best rain gear that i have owned. i live in oregon and it rains quite a lot here, so good rain gear is a must for me. the only improvement that i can see for the pants would be to put zippers or something similar to seal the front pockets from the rain."

"Fantastic Pants, I did not need long jons as these were insulated plenty even in snow (10 Degrees) where i was hunting at 12000' + elevation. Not one drop of water penetrated even when sitting in the snow. I would highly recommend these pants. These are the best pants i have ever tried, I have hunted elk for over 30 Yrs in Oregon, i would never look back."
