Great Spoon,September 3, 2009
By als46from Oklahoma
"Besides their being on sale for a price that could not be beat, I have had excellent results using this particular spoon for white bass and stripers. The 1oz or larger size can be cast a long way ahead of the boat into schools of fish busting shad on the surface without spooking them."

Cabela's Spoons,July 16, 2009
By HDRiderfrom Cookeville, TN
"In Middle Tennessee, many of the trout fishermen use these spoons in both chrome and gold while they generate. They catch trout, skipjack shad, Kentucky Bass, Stripers, and Walleye. They are a must have."
"The Cabela's Casting Spoon, plain, is EXCELLENT !!! I have used the Cabela's Casting Spoon, plain, in sizes 1/2 oz and 1 oz in color nickel for several years. The action of the spoon throught the water is excellent. I have caught a variety of fish in both fresh and saltwater using the Cabela's spoon. The lure is very durable with a quality finish. The spoon retrieves with very little water resistence which makes for easy all day casting. There are a lot of spoons on the market, but the Cabela's spoon is my spoon of choice. The Cabela's spoon casts a long distance, because of its design. As for retrieve techique, just cast out and use a slow to medium retrieve, the spoon imparts is own action. The price of the Cabela's spoon is very reasonable. If I had to go to any remote island in world with only one type of lure to survive on my fishing skills, I would select the Cabela's 1/2 oz casting spoon, plain, in color nickel."
