chartplotters, and the High Definitions System Series is no exception. These HDS units combine cutting-edge
mapping options in a compact size that can be used alone or networked with compatible transducers for the
ultimate angling tools. You'll see targeted fishing waters on a full VGA-color display that renders realistic contours
with navigation details. Search for prime locations even when you're exposed to bright sunlight thanks to the
SolarMAX™ PLUS wide-angle display with a pure-white LED screen and keypad backlighting that fully adjusts
to zero-dim for night viewing. These units have built-in Broadband high-definition technology and
a high-sensitivity 16-channel GPS+WAAS antennas. HDS built-in cartography comes in two versions, depending on
the model you choose. The Nautic Insight (HDS 5 only) background maps have amazing life-like inland
mapping, coastal charting with nav aids and shadow contouring with lightning-fast screen display updates. All other
HDS units have Insight USA™ that has nearly 5,000 freshwater lake maps with life-like perspective of bottom
structure and topography, includes the Great Lakes and more than 500 Fishing Hot Spots® Lakes - a $400
value! Fully compatible with all Navionics® chartcards – Platinum+, Platinum, Platinum HotMaps –
with one high-speed SD card slots. All 3D Navionic maps feature TurboView&38482; for enhanced 3D viewing.
All HDS models are also fully compatible with Sirius real-time weather and radio services. Fully compatible with all
Lowrance plug-and-play choices, including Lake Master Pro Maps, Fishing Hot Spots® Pro, NauticPath™
and FreedomMaps™. Expandable and ready-to-network on NMEA 2000® and Ethernetworks. Mount it
