"Frogs looked good right out of the package. After a dozen casts or so, apparently the weight came out on the cast and the frog took on too much water and would sink. I like a heavy frog but still want it to float. It would be a big benefit if extra weights were included in the packaging...and maybe even if the package were a 6 slotted lightweight box that could be used instead of the disposable packaging."

fishing with frogs for big bass, June 23, 2009

"I have used frogs before and the Cabela's Chuck It frog works as well if not better than the high priced ones. They are 100% weedless. You can throw it in a tree, in the thickest weeds or over lily pads with out getting hung up. Hands down the most exciting way to fish for large bass and pickerel. One word of advice keep your rod tip up and when the fish strikes "reel down the slack line" and then set the hook. By taking the time to "reel down the slack line" you have given the fish enough time to get the frog in it's mouth. I bought the 6 piece kit and have now ordered 5 more in black. Black seemed to work best for me but I know other people who have had luck on white, yellow and the green ones. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to catch a lot of big fish."
