"I have the 15# dipped navy anchor and it holds my 17' powerboat better than the larger fluke anchors. It opens to a wider angle, for good purchase, even in thick weeds, where its short, heavy flukes picked up less seaweed. In my personal inflateable pontoon boat, it holds better than ANY anchor system, even in high winds where my buddies were drifting away"

"I had a fluke anchor that was worthless for my pontoon boat. I bought two 20 pounders of the "river" model and they are perfect. Except for one really windy day, I have only dropped one at a time and the boat doesn't budge. On the windy day I dropped one front and the other back and the boat didn't move. The price is great too."

"the anchor is easy to handle and does not rust. it does not damage the boat interior since no metal is without coating. mud does not stick to it and it washes off easy. I like the way the main shaft moves free of the lower portion, it aids in storage."

"Very satisfied with Cabela's prompt shipping but I ordered 2 of these 20 lb river anchors recently and was dissapointed with the quality of the plastic/rubber coating on the outside. The coating on both anchors was torn and missing in multiple places. Was expecting a better quality product like I am used to receiving from Cabelas."

"I bought one of these 15 lb navy style anchors on special & it works great! Holds fast & it's not too heavy to pull up easily. Used a piece of 3' heavy chain at the end of the anchor rope for a shock absorber."
