"I used iron sights on my Benelli M4 to shoot several very nice tight groups (about 4 inches or so) at 50 yards, free standing, no rest or sling. These have quite a kick, but since I have a Shooters Friend recoil pad, it ain't so bad after all.
These seem like quite a bargain. I'd have to try them out at a more realistic distance, like 100 yds, to vouch for their hunt-worthiness, but I only kill paper, so someone else will need to evaluate this ammo at longer ranges."

Good Shooting Slugs,December 14, 2008

"I have a smoothbore charles daly 20 guage with a rifled choke tube and these shells shoot great out of this gun. I am getting a 1 1/2 inch. group at 50 yards, and thats good out of a smoothbore gun. The only reason I gave them a 4 out of 5 is because I have not shot a deer with them yet. But if you want good accuracy out of your smoothbore I would recomend these slugs."
