Solid Tube,October 27, 2009
By Nielsfrom Salt Lake City, UT
"This is my first experience with a float tube. I have had a blast using it three times I've used it so far. I look forward to using it more. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's hard to put together, epecially putting the foam pads for the seat in the compartments, and it is a little heavy to carry around at the lake once it's fully assembled. Other than that it's a great tube and it's well built to last."

Cumberland Float Tube,October 1, 2009
By TroutFisherRonfrom Parker, Colorado
"This is my fifth float tube in the past 15 years. I've had round, U-boat, I-boat and V-boat designs. In my opinion, the Cumberland is by far the best float tube on the market. It keeps me up and out of the water, while allowing me to navigate into and against strong winds. It is easier to propel than any of the other boats I've had. The Boston valves allow easy and quick inflation/deflation. The seat is the most comfortable seat I've seen in a float tube. The rubberized bottom makes it tough and durable. In my view, the most valuable feature is the fact that by sitting higher in the water, I get better and longer casts. I am very impressed by this tube, and am glad I made the investment."

Cumberland Float Tube,July 18, 2009
By tiredofthecrowdsfrom NW, Michigan
"Excellent Product. I'm 6'3", 285 lbs. and this tube floats me exceptionally well. The thick seat is very comfortable and helps with the overall floatation. The seat is submerged approx. 2" under water with me seated and all of my gear on board. I also have back problems, but can spend 5 to 6 hours at a time in this tube without any discomfort. Plenty of storage in the side pockets and rear netted seat pouch. The placement of the backpack strap attatchments could use some re-engineering, but overall, its still easy to transport. Seems to be well built and the Boston valves are a nice feature."

Best float tube I ever used.,July 17, 2009
By sandman2561from Michigan
"I have used a few float tubes in my long life and this is the best one I have had the pleasure to use. It sits you up highter so your butt don't drag in the water to slow your traveling down. The getting in and out is like sitting on a chair in knee deep water an you only attatch the apron if you need it to hold items. Because of it's quality of materials it is heavier than cheaper tubes too, but well worth the money. The two Boston Valves make filling it a breeze. There is a large pouch on the back of the chair back for a jacket or what ever. Two drink holders are on the two large tackle pockets and a screened section in the front of the thing that could be used for rope or even to drop the catch."

The fisherman's friend,June 17, 2009

"I recommend the Classic Accessories™ Cumberland Float Tube to anyone looking for a superior product. It is extremely easy to use and is very comfortable for the long day out at the lake.
It folds up and fits into your trunk and is ready to go into the water in just a couple of minutes thanks to the Boston Valves.
Cabela's doesn't advertise it but it does have dual blatters which creates a safer feeling out on the lake.
The stripping apron makes casting and, retrieving your fish really easy and provides an excellent background contrast for tieing those tricky knots.
You don't have to worry about storage space with the two large zip up compartments. There's plenty of room to pack stuff in if you want to hike into your favorite lake. Also, the mesh cargo deck is a great place to put your cooler in if you drive up and drop in.
The only complaint I would have is the placement of the back pack straps. I seem to choke myself off or the tube just plain falls off my shoulders depending on how I set it up.
Anyways, I have to say, this isn't your grandpa's float tube. It is definitly set up for today's techniques. You won't be dissapointed with this product.
Enjoy!"

Worthy Investment,May 30, 2009
By FloatGoatfrom Fort Collins, Co
"Comfortable, stable, well built, and functional too!
I have had this tube since April now. It has been out many times and I have to say I am very pleased.
When I was looking around and reading reviews I compared many tubes. Cheap out and you might be singing the blues, go to expensive and your just blowing equipment funding. For the price range I think this one is about perfect.
The colors are great and the big the seat is very comfortable. If the rest of the tube were to sink the seat might just keep you afloat! Pockets hold just about everything you might need. However, I would suggest buying a small sized dry bag to throw your jacket in and dunk into the mesh pocket behind the seat. Seams are well done, and the bottom is fairly tough. The stripping apron and bar are nice too.
All and all the only gripes I have are the pack straps and the weight. If you are looking for a distance packer you might want to think again. The stap locations are poorly placed and cheaply made. I have had to place the straps trough the loop by the rear tip and back through the seat just to get some distance between the tube and the ground. It is fine for short walks from the truck though.
THIS IS A GREAT TUBE STOP SEARCHING!"

Nice Tube,May 3, 2009
By ESASEAfrom Exeter, Ca
"I purchased this tube because I had expierence with the togiak which is classic accesories as well. It is a good tube that sits you high out of the water. These are heavy large bulky tubes and are probably not suitable for longer hikes even though they do come with back pack straps. If you can drive to the lake they are great. The only complaint I have are the zippers on the storage compartments. They are cheap and seperated (was able to fix) on my first trip. Other than that everything else worked great and I am going to purchase another one for my wife."

Cumberland float tube,April 23, 2009
By SuperDave178
"I've fished a variety of float tubes over many years. The "Cumberland" equals or betters any I've tried and is a pleasure to use as well as affordably priced.
Larger and heavier "tubers" will enjoy the "Cumberland's' elevated seating position for greater casting range, comfortable foam seat and backrest, pointed bow, forward cargo area. The seating position also means the tube moves through the water with less effort and at greater speed than any tube I've tried.
I just returned from eastern Washington where we fished desert lakes for several days. Even in a breeze, the Cumberland was very stable and tracked well even when finning across the wind direction.

Classic Accessories Cumberland Float Tube,February 22, 2009
By Hinnixfrom Finland
"The Cumberland turned out to be slightly bigger than i thought. I love the seat and backrest, and the pocket zippers are made well. If you are a big guy like me, it fits you just fine. The backrest is adjustable and you could even sleep in it. Just turn the backrest all the way back and take a nap. The fabric is tough, and the bladders as well.
The only thing i would miss, is a decent manual. All i got was this one sheet of paper that described how to assemble the tube. I would like to have some instructions on how to assemble the tube to the transportation when it's deflated. Which D-rings to use and how to pack it up.
So far it's been a great tube. I'm not even sure if my behind gets wet. The seat is so thick. =)"
