Our Tourney Trail® rod series is one of Cabela's best sellers. We've completely redesigned it to give customers a
more sensitive-feeling rod for their money. We introduced small, yet strong, aluminum-oxide guides that are perfectly
sized and wrapped to the new steel-blue blanks in a seamless bond. Heavy-duty graphite reel seats with cushioned
hoods secure your reel. Screw-down locking fore grips were added to eliminate exposed threads when the reel is
snugged. We also added higher-quality cork handles to make casting for fish more comfortable. All Tourney Trail rods
are built around IM7 100% graphite blanks that have fast tip-sensitive actions. Limited two-year warranty.

Good rod,September 26, 2009
By Sabin53from E. WA
"Purchased the 7 ft ML spinning rod for drop shoting smallies. After much use, I find it, light, sensitive, plenty of backbone for the big boys. Not a $300 rod, but excellent rod for the $$."

awesome rod!!,September 10, 2009
By WWCinCAfrom los angeles, ca
"I purchased two of these rods as part of a Shimano and Sahara Tourney Trail rod and reel combo in the Spring, primarily for the reel but also because the rod got good reviews from other patrons. The rod is all that it's said to be and when matched with a 2500 sized Shimano reel, 6lb test it feels well balanced, light and "just right". I especially like the smaller diameter guides, which makes the rod "feel" lighter when casting. I've caught LMB up to 4lbs, calioco bass, bonito, sand bass, barracuda and stripers so far and the rod handles the load well with a fast action, plenty of backbone, but agile enough to cast small baits and lures. I ordered 3 more rods alone I like them so much."

Great Rod,May 12, 2009
By Gelnette1984from Niagara Falls, NY
"Talk about ultra sensative. When i get a fish to strike my medium feels like an ultra light. I have an ultra light and when you catch perch, sunfish or trout it gives you a feel of a fight with a bigger fish. Bought two of these rods. A medium and ultra light and cant wait to order more. Rods are also are lighter than many other rods i tried. With the price, sensativity and light weight you cant go wrong buying these great rods. These rods also look great and have a nice blue color. When i have time i go fishing twice a week and i will never buy another rod."

Good for the price,April 21, 2009
By Wellsyfrom Upstate, NY
"I own two of these rods and they are decent. I prefer the lighter action rods in this series for trout, but the MH rod seems to lack the grit of a hard use tool over the long haul."

Whip it Good!,April 6, 2009
By SimmZfrom Delmont PA
"I bought this in Wheeling WV and used it a week later in Elkins WV in Randolph County. The streams and rivers there are wide enough that a drift rig is a necessity. The length is sufficient to guide a 4-1/2' float/indicator depth and short enough that you can retie a knot without having your reel in water when your in thigh high depths. The action was effective in that tip was not flimsy and I was able to work a jig. This product was chosen over a few other more expensive types and I am not regretting my choice!"
