"I bought 2 of these combos in march of 09 with my income tax. And i tell you what they are great. I used them for trout in the boat and from shore, I used them for walley and even got some pike with them. The reel is smooth and I have 8 lb test on both and boy can they zing your lure out there. I used all techniques with these combo from dop shot to jiging and the have the muscle to pull them up. A tip broke off one rod on a saturday from a peskey pike sent it back monday had a new one by friday and I tell you I just love these combos Im gonna get 1 for my dad and one more for myself. You wont be disapointed."
