Cast it, troll it or float it and make it dive. The Runner floats at rest but quickly dives to 8-28 ft., depending on model and presentation. But the real key to its unbelievable effectiveness is the unique body design teamed with RealImage HDS. The slow wobble and lifelike appearance are just the thing for finicky walleyes. The 3-1/2" Runner dives 8-10 ft. when casting, or as deep as 21 ft. when trolled perfect for spring and fall bites. Go extra deep with the 4-3/4" model, which runs 15-18 ft. on the retrieve
and down to 28 ft. when trolling.

Here fishy fishy,July 28, 2009
By a4262gofrom Canton Ohio
"Great value for the price. I bought one of each in both sizes. They look great and perform. in the water great. Unfortunately I have not caught anything on a lure yet to see if they perform under pressure. I can't say the lure is the reason why I am not catching fish as I can't seem to catch them regardless of what I use. The perils of trading fantastic steelhead waters of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in Northern Idaho for the illusive lunkers of the Ohio lakes"

Walleye runner,July 24, 2009
By Bowhunt65from Conway Ar.
"I've used the original Walleye Diver for years and caught many fish on the lures. When I saw your Walleye runner on sale and that the price was less than half of the Walleye Diver, I thought I would give it a try. There was no difference in the two baits. I will now be buying the walleye runner from you all the time. It's a great little bait for catching the number one tasting fish in fresh water. Arkansas is not known for its Walleye fishery but Greers Ferry lake is one of the best in the US. Troll this bait in 25 to 30 feet of water on rocky points and you will see the results."

Fish On!,July 24, 2009
By LegalEagle69from Tennessee
"I'm learning to walleye fish, and I bought several of these lures to try. It's the slow time of the year for walleyes, but this is the most productive lure I have tried so far. It dives deep - where the summer walleyes are. I use the 4 3/4" size. I may not catch as many fish as some do with smaller lures, but I don't have to measure the ones I catch. I've had two Muskie on, but didn't land either one.
There is a knock on this lure though. The hooks in the batch I got were the worst hooks I have ever seen. In the month and a half I've been fishing with these, three hooks have broken. I'm replacing the hooks all around. #4 hooks fit the 4 3/4" size and #6 fit the 3 1/2" size.
I've caught walleye, drum, bass and crappie on the 3 1/2" size - the muddy green color. I still prefer the larger size because I can expect a bigger fish. I have no trouble hanging the bottom at 30'."

Walleye lures,July 23, 2009
By house3571from Buckeye Lake, ohio
"Should be a little more specific on how deep these lures go. I troll lures out of my boat at depths os 6-10 feet. These lures are well designed for deeper. No matter how slow i go they are digging into the bottom. They look great and function well just need deep water. Not able to use them in our fishing lake."

Odd sticker,February 25, 2009
By Pickyfishermanfrom SW Colorado
"I have yet to use this lure, but the pattern seems odd. the "RealImage" HDS Is just a thick shiny sticker slaped on to the side of the lure. I am an avid reader of reviews and find them helpfull when shopping. The sticker does seem easy to remove (but I wont until I fish). Either way it looks like a solid lure and Im sure it has Cabelas quality. Ill review it again after I see it in the water."
