Great Trolling Lure,September 11, 2009

"Used the largest size 4 3/4" in MCG color for the first time last weekend on a canoe camping trip to Algonquin Park. My go to lure for pike fishing over those few days trolling. Great action/sound and amazing life-like pattern. Lure finish stood up well enough to 13 2-4 pd pike although it did get marred a bit on the underside. Medium diver in this size only but it dove to 15' feet - well over the 7' identified in the lure specs. Tracks true from speeds ranging from 2-6 km/hr. Picking up a few others in the smaller sizes (both med and deep divers) and a few extra larger ones - can't find these at my local shops."

"great for the clear water in lake erie. very realistic looking, will catch those finnicky eyes that usually follow but won't strike. i've used the natural matte finish with good success."
