"I have been making canoe and fly-in trips to the BWCA and Canada to fish for the past ten years. I especially like Lake Trout fishing. I have found the perch colored Luhr Jensen 3" Krocodile spoon ( with the small red plastic spinner blade) to be the most effective and versatile lure I can take along. Effective in catching Lake Trout when trolled deep. Great for casting for Walleyes, Northern Pike and Bass...all species love the perch color...it cast great in the wind."

"I have used Krocs for over 35 years. I have caught more trout on Krocs in western lakes and rivers than all other lures combined. There is a certain lake in western Wyoming that it seems that the big Browns can only be caught on Krocodiles. Message to Luhr-Jensen: Please start making the brass fire wing 1/4 and 3/8 oz. Krocodiles again. They were the best lure on the market."

"These spoons are one of the best trout spoons on the market. Cast or trolled for fish in lake habitats they consistently catch any trout species. The small 1-16th oz. size I ordered are not available in stores in my area. I don't know why, they used to be. Thanks Cabelas for completing my Krocodile set! I have already caught fish on those spoons while people ran up & asked what are you using?"

"We have tested several different spoons, but only the Krocodile are so successfull catching Sea Trout here in Denmark. First we caught 2 trout and later the same day 3. Our friends didn't caughte any using different spoons. Only we had the Krocodile!"

"Well the lure worked well I caught several diferent species of fish until the Baracuda came in. I pulled out several til I caught the last one, as soon as it got on I knew it was big I just did'nt know how big.when I pulled it next to the boat we saw it was atleast a 4 ft. fish, at the last moment the baracuda jumped one last time and caught my line with one of its teeth and swam away with my lure. :( Overal it was a welcomed adition to my arsenal of saltwater-fishing lures. It was good til it lasted!"
