"These rounds are just the ticket for those wily late season roosters that like to flush wild. I run the 3" sixes in my Benelli with full choke. Word of caution if they happen to flush close better let them run awhile or you be eating pheasantburger."

"These do not pattern as tight as traditional turkey shells of the same shot weight, I believe it is due to the extra speed. But if your goal is to move as much lead as fast as possible these are terrific. I have used them on about everything and still find myself pleasantly surprised."

"Bought the 3 length 1280 velocity 1 5/8 shot, and i can say they gave me an extra 20 yards to my gun. My old shells don't come close to these. I could have much more success in my day if i had these. My old shells were in question at 40 yards. But 40 yards with these, are a breeze. Target practice at 60 yards, and I'm confident enough that it will bring them down. So if you tend to always get that suborn tom at 60 yards that wont come in, get these shells and he will no longer be safe."

Excellent "poor man's" turkey load,March 30, 2009

"If you hunt turkeys but don't want to shell out big bucks for a specialty gun, high-priced "turkey extra super full choke tube" and premium "turkey loads", use these. In my Remington 870 Wingmasters with full choke tubes, they pattern extremely well in both 12 and 20 ga., and knock turkeys flat at ranges up to 40 yards. A long shot in the turkey woods! As a bonus, they are also handy for long-range pheasant and snowshoe (varying) hares."
