The Triumph .50 cal. was the first non-FFL break-open gun from T/C. The toggle-lock action lets you break open the gun like your favorite shotgun to get tip-up access to the barrel. The classic-looking lever-action sports a trigger guard that pulls down. It provides easier access to the breech area for priming and cleaning, as well as access to the 209 primer. T/C's Speed Breech XT? has a breech plug that can be removed by hand simply by turning the breech 90?. Once the breech plug is removed, simply run the solid-aluminum ram rod with a cleaning patch through the barrel to clean it. Three gas compression rings on the face of the breech plug eliminate 95% of the corrosive fouling. The trigger sets with an automatic hammer-block safety and comes factory set at 3 to 31?2 lbs. The alloy receiver reduces the weight and balances the rifle for smooth handling. A SIMS Limbsaver? recoil pad reduces felt recoil. T/C's Weather Shield? advanced metal coating delivers corrosion protection and durability. It's engineered to handle 150-grain charges. The 28" barrel has a 1-in-28'' rate of twist that stabilizes sabots for incredible accuracy. A Quick-Load Accurizer Muzzle System on the barrel makes loading simple.
