CVA® Accura™ 209 Rifle – Blued/Black

This new breed of break-action muzzleloader is easier to cap, easier to clean and lighter in weight than other break-actions, plus it's outfitted with a premium blued steel Bergara Barrel?. Bergara Barrels are among the most accurate production barrels in the world, helping the Accura earn its name. The fluted barrel with a Bullet Guiding Muzzle? provides the right combination of maneuverability and efficient powder burning with 1-in-28" twist rifling. The Accura is built off a totally new frame to reduce moving parts and give it a streamlined appearance. The breeching lever is built into the trigger guard, making this one of the easiest-opening break-actions around. The entire gun can be disassembled by removing just one screw. Its ambidextrous, ergonomic stock has a higher comb to ensure proper eye alignment when using a scope. A CrushZone? recoil pad minimizes felt recoil. The cocking spur gives you a greater surface area for cocking and minimizes thumb pressure. Drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Aluminum extendable loading rod included. "I've owned an Optima Pro and an Optima Elite and they do not compare to the Accura. I was able to get the black stock/blued version for a great price. I matched it up with a Bushnell Elite 4200 with Durasight rings and this thing shoots 1" groups at 100 yards no problem. The trigger is completely different than the Optima series. It is very crisp and light. Highly recommend."

Great bang for your buck, September 18, 2009

"This rifle does everything they say it does. It is extremly accurate, light weight and fun to shoot. The only draw back to the weapon is that you need to use the supplied tool to remove the breach plug. I know other companies have speed breaches you can remove by hand. But heck for the money spent who cares. I would recommed this weapon to anyone from the beginner to the experienced hunter. This weapon is amazing simply using iorn sights. I cannt wait to mount a good scope on it and hit the field this season."

"Put a nikon omega on it. 10 shots later the 250 grain shockwaves powered by 120 grains of 777 were producing 2 inch groups at 100 yards."

"This is one of the truest shooting ML's of our day! Fit and finish is near perfect. Action is perfect! EASY to load and a joy to fire! I'm shooting great groups and only swab every 5 shots, (just for good measure!) The Bergara barrel will make you a believer!!"

"I own many guns, but the Accura was my first muzzleloader. It is a great gun. Out of the box, it shot less than1" groups at 50yds open sight.
However, the group was 12" to the left of bullsye. I moved the rear sight as far as it would go and still shot that same tight group but still 3" to the left of bullseye.
After i got home, I noticed that the front sight of my bagara barrel was tapped way off center to the right of the barrel. I feel that is the problem. I have contacted CVA about
this but have not recieved a reply. Other than that, Ilike everything else about the gun."

"purchased this gun to replace my rem. m-700 boy what a dif a few years makes, shoots sub 2 inch groups at 100 yds and sub 3 inch at 200 yds, like the trigger and barrel, this is a good gun for the $. i will bye another for my son, thanks cva and cabelas"
