Good Pellet gun for the $$,March 17, 2009
By GrandMesafrom Grand Junction, CO
"Shoots straight and strong...a bit load on the discharge, but to get 1000fps, it takes some power.
Scope is basic, but with solid mounts, unlike others we have tried with very loose scope mounts."

Crosman Phantom air gun,March 16, 2009
By ChasseurTireurfrom Canada, Qc
"Don't buy the air gun only. The sights are useless. Probably the reason they put a scope on it. I wrote to Crosman about the sights and they never answered me. I ask a friend to try the gun and he feel the same way I feel. I own a .177 caliber and today I met an other shooter at the range who own a .22 caliber and he get rid of it for the same reason.
Because it's a high velocity air gun, it take a special permit for the acquisition. If I want to get rid of it, I have to fill a form and explain why, because now the air gun is register like a firearm .I decide to keep it for the moment and put a scope on it and change the gun case. More $$ and frustrations.
Keep your money for an other brand."

"I got this gun two days ago because i was looking for a better pellet gun for bird shooting at my grandpa and grandmas farm. It took about 25 shots to sight in. At ten yards it holds a grouping about the size of a nickel. I was very impressed and decided to move back to 20 yards, which gave me the same grouping. This is by far the best pellet gun i have ever owned. Yesterday i took a 45 yard shot at a pigeon on top of a silo and i hit it in the head. The 1000 fps sure did a job on it! I also took 9 barn sparrows from about 10 yards away. This gun is more than i wanted and i am very pleased with it. I haven't tried this on a rabbit or squirrel yet but im sure it will do the job. Very nice gun i would recommend this to anybody."
