Improve the downrange accuracy of your muzzleloader using a scope that puts you precisely on-target out to 250 yards. The trajectory-compensating reticle takes the guesswork out of crosshair placement when using today's most popular black-powder bullets. All you have to do is sight in the crosshairs at 100 yards at 9X, determine distance to your target and use the appropriate crosshair. At a distance of 100 yards, the ballistic reticle is precisely calibrated to match bullet drop. The next bar down is calibrated for a drop at 150 yards and the lowest bar down for 250 yards. Loading data is based off of 250-grain black-powder sabots and 150 grains of Triple Se7en® FFg powder. Scope has a full 3.75" of eye relief. Multicoated lenses deliver superior light transmission for clear images, even in low light. Hand-turn 1/4-MOA click adjustments. Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Lifetime warranty.

Won't hold center,November 17, 2009
By aJET123from South Carolina
"Thought it was the gun. Tried everything and no help with siting in. Moved the eyepiece and the whole reticle moved. Wiggled the eyepiece and the reticle went all over the place. I had just missed the buck of a lifetime when I found all this out. Put a Nikon Prostaff on my gun and it centered perfectly. I have no confidence in this scope whatsoever."

Cabela's Powderhorn Muzzleloader Scope,October 15, 2009

"I ordered the Powderhorn Muzzleloader scope because I liked the EXT reticle. When I tried to site it in at 25 yards, it was all over the place. The U-D and R-L zero adjustments were defective. Cabela's operators were very helpful and curtious when I returned the scope."

"I just purchased this scope and had the Cabelas guys mount and bore sight for me. They said that it was sighted for 30 yards. I fired at 100 yards and missed. I fired at 50 yards and had it sighted in perfect with 3 shots using 295 grain Powerbelt with 100 grains of Pyrodex pellets. I then fired at 100 yards and guess what, 1/2" off the bulls eye. 2 more shots and all within 1". Not bad for an ametuer!!!"

Bad Scope X2,September 28, 2009
By TCBoneCollectorfrom Montana
"I brought this scope for my ProHunter Encore Muzzleloader the day it came out. Was shooting 1 inch groups at 100 yards with 115grains BlackHorn and 300grain XTP bullet. Was a great scope at first, but after shooting it time and again my groups got worse and worse. Thinking that i might be my breech plug, I bought another one and tired that. Still no better. Thinking that the scope went bad(which I was right) and returned it to the store and got a new one. The first day at the range I had 1inch group at 100 yards. The following week I went to shoot it again and it was off. I zeroed the scope again and after 3 shoots my bullets were flying all over the place. The scope does not hold zero!!!! Any little bump or recoil from the gun will send this scope off!!!! All my other guns have cabelas scopes and not one single issue with them. Maybe since this is a new scope they havn't worked out the bugs. But I will not be trying this scope again. I'll spend the extra money and get a different one."

Powderhorn MZ Scopes,September 27, 2009
By benelli67
"I just got back from an antelope hunt. Shot my antelope at 134 yards. Scope performed exactly as expected. One shot kill right in the boiler room. During summer I tried sighting in a scope without rangefinding reticle. No way I could hit a 200 yard target with any kind of regularity. This scope compensated perfectly for me. I just purchased a second one for my other muzzleloader. Not sure how they will handle light transmission but I will find out during deer season."

"Put this scope on my new Ecore muzzleloader. Zeroed in nicely at 100 yards. Be sure to tighted it well before shooting, scope moved on me the first day at the range. Product was very nice for the price. Good deal."

Absolutely amazing,August 24, 2009
By aviatorp3from Des Moines, IA
"I was completely suprised at how well this scope works on my muzzleloader. This scope works just as well as a similar one that I own which cost 3 times what this one did. The ballistic reticle is more than accurate for deer sized game out to 250yds. Highly recommend for the price."

pretty good,July 23, 2009

"I really like the scope, the only thing I would change is to have the BDC reticle lines made a little more bold so they would be easier to see, other than that you cant beat this scope for the money."

"I received this scope and mounted it on my .50 Kodiac Pro Rifle and was impressed with the accuracy. I really like the bullet drop compensating reticle, that is why I ordered this scope. The price was great and the optics are very clear with no distortion."

Great product for the money!,March 10, 2009
By BlackpowderBabyfrom Central New York Deer Hunter
"I mounted this scope on a TC Triumph, perfect fit. Had the scope dead nut at 100 yrds in four shots with 250 grain Horaday low drag sabots and 150 grains of triple 7. Weather turned for the worst and did not shoot 200 yrds. Hope it stays that way. You can't go wrong with a lifetime waranty and excellent optics. I also have a Nikon BDC and I can't tell the difference."

Powderhorn muzzle loader scope set.,February 27, 2009
By JSTRMfrom Central Texas
"Mounted it on a TC Triumph.
Very good optics, with generous eye relief and plenty of lateral digestibility built into the mounts and riings. How the bdc reticules work I can't say as our range is limited to 100 yds and I probably wouldn't use them anyway. The mounts and rings fit well and were simple to install, with one small hitch. One of the base screws took one size smaller torx driver than the rest. Forunately I had the proper driver in my tool box (T10 instead of T15 as supplied). I would have give it 5 stars except for that one screw. Wasn't a problem for me, but if you are relying on the supplied driver you'd have a slight set back. Not to say every set of mounts will have the same problem. Mine may have been an anomaly."
