"I expected the matress to loose some air but it deflates overnight when not used, in use 2=3 hours before you cannot stand the pain from the frame. I have used it once each year since new in 2007. no hope for a warranty replacement. lost the invoice."

Air bed in the cold,

"The overall build quality,stability and comfort were excellent. I just got back from a week long outing using the bed. My only problem was a slight loss of pressure on cold nights. Not enough to require additional air, but the mattress was soft in the morning. Admittedly these were very cool nights in the Rocky Mountains hitting a low in the mid 30's. Not your typical camping weather."

"First time camping with my 5 year old and almost 2 year old, my husband and I were nervous about how it was all going to turn out, well it went great, and we were able to get good sleep thanks to the cabela bed frame + air mattress. We normally sleep on a tempur-pedic mattress at home, we don't get any good sleep on hotel mattresses, at least the ones we've been to, usually $150 to $250 a night.
The only thing is the weight difference between my husband and I made it so I would fall towards him, even then no problem sleeping. Soooo nice to be off the ground while camping, I could not find any other queen cot online. Loved this one. The kids slept on sleeping bags on air mattresses on the ground, I would get the same cabela bed for them if it wasn't because they might/will fall off. Out tent is big enough for two of these :)"

"Right now we have this in our basement, replacing a spare but old mattress. It's been a great extra bed.
It took 10 minutes to inflate, and it was a bear to get the pad inside the lining (it would be much easier with 2 people).
I have a concern with space issues when trying to slide the pad into the lining in the confined space of a tent, but I'm certain that one way or another we will manage.
The bed is very comfortable. Everyone in my family has slept on it at least once, and we all find it very comfortable. A great buy."

"I used the folding air bed at a recent camping trip and found it to be awesome. Setup was easy and straightforward. The only problem I had was in getting the bottom sheet to stay on the mattress. Nothing for the sheet to grip and I toss while sleeping.
The bed kept me off the ground, made getting out of bed easy and almost made me feel like I was in a hotel bed.

Doesn't hold up,

"I bought this in April 2009 and by June 2009 one of the corners broke on the frame. After calling about the problem I would have to ship it back. Instead my husband glued the plastic pieces back together (he is a Mr. Fix It). Then using it in early July the airbed had a leak. There was a hole in the seam on the mattress. We patched it and it seems to be holding. Overall it is a very comfortable bed but so many things are going wrong too soon after purchase. I don't think it was worth the money. Just buy an air mattress."

"I've taken this thing camping twice so far, and its awesome.
It came with a mattress and pump I have not used yet, since I already had a queen sized air mattress/pump for camping. You can use it at home for guests too, it'd be perfect! The nylon covering is durable and keeps the mattress in place. Its a comfort camping essential!"

"This took about 5 minutes to set up for the first time. My husband is about 250lbs and I am 170lbs, both 5'9" tall. We were perfectly comfortable on this bed. It was so nice to camp and be up off of the floor! I highly recommend this."

"The airbed and pump met my expectations and then some. It is comfortable, easy to use and stores in a small space. One of the features I really liked was the zippered compartment that the bed sits in once inflated. It is part of the bed and keeps the mattress from moving on the frame when in use. At first I thought it would be difficult to get the inflated bed into the compartment but it proved to be quite easy. I have had the bed inflated for over two weeks and have not needed to put more air in it which is great because I have had air mattresses that required filling every day. If you want a little extra comfort, add a foam pad on top. I highly recommend this product."

"My wife and I went on a 6 day camping trip and knew we didn't want to sleep on a ground-level mattress; we were also wary about cots. We used the bed platform with our current air mattress (bought the full kit to have a backup mattress) and it worked great! No rolling out onto our knees and getting up off the ground (difficult for both of us due to arthritis); it definitely made our trip more enjoyable since we both got a decent sleep."

"Love the bed, easy to set up and take down, tote, and stow. Wonderful to have it so high off the ground -- very easy on the knees. With mattress in it is a full queen (I've seen reviews to the contrary). Good night's sleep -- pretty comfy. Mattress needs daily refilling -- gets a little soggy otherwise. Wish it came with a battery operated or rechargeable pump option instead of just electric. (No electricity in the woods!)
Have only used it for sleeping out on our deck so far this summer -- we'll have to see how it does on uneven terrain when we take it camping next week."

"I am using this bed in a tent while camping. Comfortable and easy to set up. Folds away neatly in a carrying case. The pump is loud but effective. The matress does not move around since it slides into a cover. It will come in handy as a spare bed for visitors."
