Poor performance,April 20, 2009
By AvidHikerfrom San Ramon California
"I had an old pair of these shoes, the same size which finally wore out. This pair after only one ten mile hike caused a blister which a week later is still not completely healed. Needless to say I have returned them for a refund."

Great Shoe,April 10, 2009
By Countermanfrom Wisconsin
"I purchased this Hiker as my first low-cut hiking shoe. I had the unfortunate experience of 1 size being too small and 1 size being slightly big. I went with the larger size (its big by about a thumbnail). I have used the shoes on 3 hikes so far, 2 involving very rocky terrain and 1 while walking level ground.
The comfort of these shoes is amazing! The grip that I get from the aggressively design treads is equally amazing. I have yet to experience any problems with footing or traction. The support below the ankle is strong, the shoe does not flex easily. -Which on rocky terrain can be a draw back, in my opinion, but I would rather the support be there.
While they are kind of pricey and heavier then comparable shoes I wouldn't second guess my decision to purchase these shoes."
