"It is compatible with my GPS but does not show the depths of the lake. I have e-mailed Navionics twice now with no response. I'm sure it will be great if I ever get it to work properly or exchange it for a new one. It can not be returned to cabela's. It has to be sent back directly to the company. So as of right now I'm a little disappointed."

"Unfortunately, by using this map of Oahe, you will be fishing on land 90% of the time! The map was done in late 2008 and the lake came up twenty five feet since then.
If you fish Oahe, you will need to use a 2008 or older map. I have two 2006 maps that are only about ten feet off.
I like the one foot format of the new map. It will be GREAT for the other lakes in South Dakota. It is very accurate on Lake Sharpe.

"Sounds like everyone else likes it but it doesn't work on the Lowrance HDS units as advertized. I hear that there is a patch coming out, someday but here we are at fishing opener and my unit doesn't work!"

"I fish in PA and love having this chip. It has great detail for the lakes included. My only complaint is that I wish they had more lakes/waters from PA. Luckily, two of the lakes that I fish most are included along with a few others that I plan to fish this year."

"This chip is great. The best feature is how many lakes it covers.
I fish the Lake Petenwell in central Wisconsin. The HD map is very accurate and useful. I can use the chip and the Navionics Hotmaps Explorer PC program to find interesting features on the lake. I can mark waypoints and then use my GPS to go directly to that structure.
I also fish the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota. The chip has nearly every lake I've been on. The BW maps are not high definition but provide the basic depth information. That information is way better than nothing."
