"I purchased the medium hunter. When the knife arrived I sharpened it on a soft arkansas stone, it took a razor edge. I then polished the bamboo handle with linseed oin and turpintine plus I worked the sheath over with mink oil. The final result is that I have a very nice medium sized hunting knife. The knife is light due to the bamboo handle material a real plus when you lug it around all day and all week when hunting. I'm pleased with the quality. You could spend a lot more $$ and get a lot less of a knife (:
I am going to buy a second one as a Christmass gift for my son-inlaw...."

"I've always been looking for a compact field knife with a gut hook. Now I finally found one for a great price. I would have given this 5 stars, if I didn't have to continue to sharpen the knife after every deer skinned. But overall I am very satisfied with it, especially for the price."

"A good, sturdy knife, and smells good too. The handle is pretty slim, which is good in case I want to stick it in my boot. The sheath, however, is rather bulky and doesn't conform to the shape of the knife exactly right."

"I loved the knife. The biggest one is perfect for skinning large game. The only reason I gave it a 4 was when the knife came it had no edge on it what so ever. Seems to keep its edge after a couple of dressings with a deer."
