"I bought a pair of Iron Rangers in amber and while they are on sale, I am ordering a sencond pair in sand color. The quality is excellent and break-in period was just a few steps. The size/length seems a bit large/long, so I am ordering my second pair 1/2 size smaller. These are great, great, great boots; you will not be disappointed."

"These boots are expensive, but they are worth it for the high-quality (Made in USA) construction. I can tell I will be able to resole these boots many times before they completely wear out. They are very comfortable to wear and the treadless soles have surprisingly good traction. I may buy another set to have around just in case Red Wing decides to stop making them."

"The look, feel, and fit of these boots puts them in a class above any boots I've ever worn. Ordered a full size smaller than usual and they fit great. The materials and workmanship are excellent in every regard. Break in took a few days but I can wear them all day and they feel great."

"I have 2 pairs of these boots my first pair is top notch , robust leather great stitching and very well put together but my most recent pair is a disappointment! My new pair has one panel which feels like paper and nothing like the other panels on the boots, I will be interested to see if it lasts more than a few weeks. The stitching is very poor on the welt around the edge of the sole at the end of the stitch line it just seems like it was unfinished. The panel that runs up the back of the boot is way off centre on both boots . The sole is also badly cut too it has various lumps and bumps around the edge and doesnt look like a smooth shape all round but that is only cosmetic. When I compare this pair to my older pair the quility is just not there , strangely there is a quality control inpection sticker inside one of the boots! Overall I have to give these boots 1 star, I would have given more stars but there are just too many faults with these boots. I expected more from Red Wing"

"These are the most comfortable boots with plenty of toe room and tight heel counters. They are the 3rd pair of Red Wings I've owned and still have them all. Expensive but well worth the money. Thank you for a fine American made product."

"These boots are not cheap, but "you get what you pay for". They are well worth the price. The workmanship is excellent, and they are both comfortable and practical for my needs. I am personally glad to see a traditional style boot on the market, and prefer natural materials over any synthetic. The exception would be the sole, which appears to be similar to the durable combination of cork and rubber which has been in use since at least World War 2. For me at least, they are best worn with mid-weight wool socks. If they worked in 1905, they'll work just as well today. I plan to order another pair soon. Thanks RED WING."

"the leather is beautiful, super thick and supple, and smells great:). the quality exceeded my expectations. wanted an 'old-time' shoe that would last forever, these will. i can have them re-soled and keep the leather oiled and treated. perfect.
ordered 1 size smaller than my usual size and fit great. super comfy as well. i'm on my feet 40-50 hours a week for work, and they are wonderful.
tempted to buy a second pair incase something out of ordinary happens or they stop making them..."
