Snowy range snowshoe,February 23, 2009
By Merlot68from Rochester, N.Y.
"These shoes seem to be fine for beginners. I am a beginner. They are easy to fasten, light weight and perform well. Walking strides have to be wide, so I doubt you can be fast and run in these. They perform surprisingly well up hills. I wouldn't leave the product out in the frigid cold for long out of fear for the life of the straps. I am pleased with the product at this stage, and would recommend them for other new enthusiasts!"

first pair of snowshoes,February 17, 2009
By Alambfrom Tisch Mills, WI
"This was my first pair of snowshoes, it's a lot of fun! They are very lightweight, which makes it really easy to move along at a good pace. They do seem to sink in a little more, though, than the larger models/my husband has those."

Snowy Range Snowshoes,February 8, 2009
By Winterstalkerfrom North Dakota
"Pros: Overall construction was very good and they performed very well. Really liked the pivot point attachment for the boot harness, made walking with these snowshoes very easy.
Cons: Webbing material is extremely noisy on hard packed or icy snow. No way possible to stalk game under these conditions. Also harness is hard to get larger pack shoes into. I were a size 11 Rocky Blizzards and had to work to get them into the harness but once in they fit well and didn't slip on my shoes. I think anything larger would not fit in them.
Over all these are a good set of snowshoes."

broke first time used,January 10, 2009
By yoopettefrom MI
"A rivet that helps keep the boot in place broke the very first time I used these and of course I threw the box they came in away. Have to send them back somehow. Should have bought a better pair I guess."
