With a short, forward taper and a hard, smooth coating on a stiff single strand monofilament core, Rio's Tarpon fly lines can cast heavy tarpon flies long distances with improved accuracy and great turnover. The floating/intermediate line features a 9-ft. AquaLux? intermediate sinking tip and has no loops or joints and is very useful, because unlike a full intermediate fly line, you can roll cast once to break the line loose, back cast, and get a second shot at the tarpon. Welded loops on both ends for easy rigging. 100 ft. Available: 10-12 weights. Line color: Sea Grass, Clear Tip.
