"I don't travel into NYC much but last saturday Jan 24 I walked from Penn Station which is at 32 and 7th Ave to 16th st between 8th and 9th Ave to see an awesome band. Since my triple bypass surgery in 2006 I walk everywhere. But these Merrell Thermo 6 Waterproof boots makes walking a simple pleasure especially in New York where anything can happen in a blink of a eye. They took to the sidewalks like moths to a flame. Perfect fit and they are waterproof I got soaked after the show but my feet were dry and Cabela's NEVER let me down. Go get a pair. They are the only company I get my foot and outerwear from."

"I have a problem with a wide flat feet and I normally have to add 2 pairs of cold winter socks in all my boots,well,when my boots arrived at the date of delivery.I was amaze of the construction and how comfortable it felt when I wore them that day. Most of my boots would hurt for about a week or so,maybe longer,for a boot that was a medium size and I also got a 1/2 size larger from other reviews here,I couldn't be happier.It was very warm at times and got a lot of walking in harsh elements of high acidity liquids on the floors almost every hour at my work. It keep out the water or so called water and kept my feet dry.If you ever work in a winery,you'll know what type of conditions we walk into,old wines,mud,diluted 1 % acids,CL2 and others of unknown water waste.Oh,it's keeps my feet warm too,in those colder days.Recommendation to other users,you bet.It's a keeper for me and I'll be getting another one soon."
