"WE USE OUR FIRE PIT IN CAMPGROUNDS THAT HAVE NO FIRE PITS IN THE GROUND. NORMALLY THEY WILL NOT LET PEOPLE HAVE FIRES BUT, WITH THIS COVERED PORTABLE FIRE PIT WE HAVE FIRES IN OUR CAMP AND CLEAN-UP IS A BREEZE. JUST MAKE SURE ALL OF THE EMBERS ARE OUT AND THE ASHES ARE COLD. THEN YOU JUST DUMP THE ASHES IN A GARBAGE BAG AND DISPOSE LIKE TRASH. WE LOVE THIS PRODUCT."

"Very happy with the fire pit. It is well built and easy to put together. I put the sand in the bottom like the instructions say and use it on our concrete patio. I was worried it would get too hot but after many uses and large fires the patio barely gets warm."

"We gave this firepit as a gift last year to my brother in law; he was thrilled with it and uses it constantly. We also liked it so much we ordered one for ourselves; within a week of receiving it we have used it several times and already grilled on it. It's so handy that we can just pick it up and put it wherever we want. Everyone who sees it thinks it's great and we just love it!! I would highly recommend this firepit for yourselves or as a gift."

"This is a good fire table. My kids especially like the animals on the sides that glow when the fire is burning. I have not been impressed with the mesh cover that already has numerous dents and rust spots but the table itself is great. Very easy to put together. I would recommend it."

"The fire burns well within the pit. It radiates the heat very well and burns clean. Does produce a bit of heat below the pit so make sure you put the pit on a concrete or brick pad. Very happy with the product."

"I have used this fire pit 4 times now. I wish I baught it before I baught my charcol grill since I use it now as both a cooking grill and fire pit. Super for hambergers and chickens.
I ordered the cover with it, but it has not shown up yet. I wish Cabela's also offers a metal cover like the webber cover in addition to the screen."

"With a household of allergy sufferers, indoor fires aren't a good idea for my family. I thought that a fire pit for the patio might be a better option, and Cabela's offers several. The Big Sky was purchased based on its reviews and price. We weren't dissapointed. I did find that this design tends to function best when the wood has been split into smaller diameter sticks. If you want a well-built firepit that can double as a grill, this one is a good choice."

"My wife wanted a firepit so we could have an outside fire closer to the house. We chose the Landmann product and we are both glad we got it. The fire starts easily and burns efficiently. The animal cutouts feed the fire with fresh air as well as give a decorative animated view when you step back a few feet. We haven't used the dome fire screen or the cooking griddle yet, but they are both well made. This is a sturdy product, yet not so heavy that I can't move it alone."

"It was great. We set it up for Christmas Eve outside our house and gave out toasted marshmallows. Can't go camping so this was the next best thing for toasting marshmallows. We looked at all the other fire pits around town and chose this one after seeing one in a local store that was about $60 more even with the Cabela's $14 shipping fee."
