"I am pleased with the wilderness lamps, and they will look great in my new cabin. I just wish they took a regular size light bulb. The bulb that fits this product is the small thin light bulbs. The lamp shades are really nice; they feel and look like real leather. All in all it is a great product and I would recommend a friend to purchase it as long as they knew it does not put out a great deal of light. Like it says "accent" lamp set."

"I ordered the pine cone lamps and I am very pleased with them. I thought the pine cone itself would be kinda small but it's about 5" with some gold coloring, very nice. The lamp shade is a soft, medium brown coloring. These lamps were just what I was looking for and a great price too. I have them in my livingroom that has a pine cone theme and they look great. Thanks Cabela's for another great product."

Great for the Cabin!, September 1, 2009

"My husband and I are in the process of building a log cabin getaway. I'd sworn to wait until it was built before making any purchases for decor etc but when I saw these lamps and the price at which they were offered I knew I had to act!

I'll admit I had a niggling worry that the lamps would be kitschy, tourist-trap quality both artistically and in their construction but I was amazed upon receiving them at how nicely they are made. The bases are solid and the well-rendered sculptures have only a hint of color, just the way it should be done. The shades are sturdily constructed; no hanging threads or poorly-sewn seams-not something I would have expected from this kind of decor. The packaging in which they arrived was amply cushioned so as not to risk breakage of any kind. The family had compliments as well and are pleased they'll be a part of the new home. They'll work out wonderfully as either a set in our bedroom or as separate accents elsewhere. Now my husband is teasing me about 'going broke' on decor when the walls aren't even up yet! :)

Thank you for offering such a nice quality decor item! I will gladly turn to Cabela's first for future decor ideas and items."

A good deal, but a surprise at the end, August 4, 2009

"We got these lamps because they were the right style and a great price. We were pleased with the look and feel when we first opened the box, but disappointed when we discovered that the lamps require a non-standard light bulb! I don't think it said anything about that in the catalog copy."

"I purchased the accent lamps for my den that I had remodeled with a "nature motiff" and these lamps fit in beautifully. They stand out and do put out alot of light. They look like they would have cost quite a bit more if shopping in one of the stores that sell these types of items. I have been completely happy with anything that I have purchased from Cablea's. You know you are getting quality products and the prices are very reasonable."

"We LOVE these lamps. We thought we would not be able to find bulbs for them, but we did and are so glad! They match our cabin decor perfectly in our bedroom. We, especially, like the off/on buttons on the cord. So convenient to not have to reach up to turn the lamps off/on. They are great!!"

"I really like the lamps, but I ordered the lamps on line and thought I was getting 2 cabin lamps, but I received 1 cabin and 1 tree lamp. I checked the catalog and that's what's pictured. I'm using in to different rooms, so I'm ok with them."
