"I previously purchased this bed for my Bluetick Daisy. When Eddie my Spaniel moved in they would always fight over the bed. Bought a second one for Eddie and they can't be happier. Living in Florida we have tile floors. This bed keeps the 40-50 lbs. dogs well off the hard floor and confortable."

"This is a great dog bed and I have really been pleased with it overall. Sam my lab is 9 and seems not to be as stiff in the mornings when sleeping on this bed. Having the removable cover for washing is great. The foam is thick and firm for a heavy dog. Sam does not sink in the bed. There are two weak points than could use some impovement - 1-a heavier zipper would be good and 2-either make the cover slightly larger or the foam smaller. Overall this is a great dog bed. Sam my yellow lab snores on it every night."

"I have purchased 6 of these beds - one for each dog. I originally bought 2 beds for dogs with arthritis due to age and broken bones. Until I found these beds, my arthritic dogs were awakening stiff and walked with limps. My dogs have been using the beds for several years and they still wake without stiffness and soreness. After the purchase of the first 2 beds, all of my dogs relaxed so well and slept so comfortably on the beds that I purchased 4 more so that each dog would have their own. "The memory foam mattress is an excellent bed and I am happy with the overall quality of the product. The only problem is that I have a very finicky dog and she is used to her old mattress where she sinks down into the center of it. The first night I exchanged her old bed for the new one, she rebelled and climbed up onto my bed and chewed a small hole into my down comforter. This was her way of telling me "If you don't mess with my bed, I won't mess with yours." She won the argument and I gave her the old bed back. The new one has been placed in my den where she will use it when I'm in there reading but she prefers the old ratty mattress for everynight use. Go figure!"

"It took a bit of time before my Lab would consider this as a new bed. I am not that impressed with it considering the price I paid for it. It seems to be constructed pretty well and has kept its shape, but then again, Jake doesn't seem to use it that much. He's a big boy, (100 #+ ) he has plenty of room on it, maybe in time he'll make use of it. As always, Cabelas shipping is 5 stars."

"My dogs love these beds. I was a little disappointed with how light the beige is. It shows dirt and mud too easy. I would suggest the company sell replacement covers. This way owners could have more than one cover, or more than one color. Another suggestion is to sell waterproof liners. Old dogs do have accidents & its no fun trying to wash these big beds in the shower. Trust me."

"i bought two of these beds for my two aging goldens. i bought in beige thinking their hair shedding hair would blend in. well, the beds arrived today and the beige is white not tan- like it looks in the picture. the beds themselves probably would serve their purpose for their joints, however there is no way to keep this white fabric clean. so if you are thinking about buying beige, don't unless you would like a white color."
