IMPRESSIVE RESULTS,

"I shoot a .50 cal inline muzzleloader. For the past 4 years I shot "Magnum Loads" (3-50 grain pellets) with 250 Grain .45 cal ploymer conical tip bullet with a .50 cal sabot. Groups less than 6 inches where hard to come by for me. Even with this new scope groups were not really groups at all. My targets looked like they had been shot with buck shot. Anyway I went to a 100 grain powder charge accompanied with the same bullet and sabot. Zeroed the scope at 100yrd with a nice 1 1/2" 3 shot group. Shot a 2" group at 150yrd using the 200yrd crosshair and shot once at 200yrd within 1" of the bullseye using the 250yrd crosshair. I didn't bother seeing if i could make a group at 200yrds, chances are here in Vermont I'll get a 150yrd shot maximum. We hunt in the woods up here. The rings may not be aircraft quality/percision, but they fit as advertised and hold the scope where it needs to be in order to poke a target at 200yrds. No Complaints from this kid!!!

2.5-7x32 ml pineridge scope,
July 4, 2009

"i bought 5 of these scopes on closeout. they are almost perfect for a 22lr. pretty good for a muzzle loader or slug gun. the parallex is the catch. i mounted one on my 30-30 and at 100 yards had almost 4'' of deflection. i swapped out the scope for a real rifle scope and my 3 shots clustered nicely. on the 22lr savage at 50 yards, one hole. another on a ruger 10-22, one hole or slightly larger. plenty good. for that. would recommend to others but, watch your yardage."

Good Scope - Poor Rings,
May 5, 2009
By Deerblaster
from NE
|
"I read the reviews before buying and thought for the price even if the rings were bad it would be a good scope for the price. The reviews were correct the two piece ring and mounts were very poor quality, they were even scratched up a little and they did not line up with the holes in the barrel. I threw them out and bought a one piece ML scope mount which I really like. For the money, the scope is real good, haven't had any problems with it and seems pretty clear. If it would have come with decent rings I would have scored it a five star."

"Scope appears to be adequate for ML needs. Rings were no good and wouldn't fit on the Omega rifle. Used substitutes OK. Haven't zeroed the rifle with the scope yet, so evaluation may change. Good price for the product."

A Good Deal For The Money,
April 13, 2009
By parrotheadsailor
|
"My biggest complaint is the terrible field of view. It is very limited, and that makes it hard to find the target if you're hunting. I'll definitely keep it on 3 power, unless I have time to take a long shot. On the other hand, the elevation and windage knobs are easy to adjust by hand and have positive clicks. The scope seems well built and has pretty clear optics. I've only shot with it a few times, and I'm happy with it, for the money. I couldn't justify spending $300 for a scope on my $150 muzzleloader."

Pine Ridge Scope,

By mahinto

"Purchased the Pine Ridge scope on a recommedation from my brother-in-law. Very pleased with the scope so far. I mounted it on a TC Omega in-lline rifle. Only shot 10 rounds so far but am happy with the scope. The real test will be during deer season this fall. I was impresed with shipping. I had the scope in just 4 days with regular ground shipping. Thanks!"

Nice value,
March 14, 2009
By Wizeguy

"I put this scope on a Knight ML and I like it. It is clear and bright. I tossed the mounts because they interfear with my iron sites. I went with a quick detach system with Weaver type mounts. I don't really care about the mill dots below the cross-hairs being for certain yardages. Site your gun in at 100 yds. and then just start moving back to see where your best grouping bullets start hitting the lower marks on your scope and write them down. Use a rangefinder to make the shot. My "250" mark just happens to be 210 yds using Barnes MZ Expanders in the 250 gr. with 120 grains of Blackhorn 209. Who cares what the yardage is just find WHAT it is and squeeze...."

"I read everyone's review before purchasing and concur with most of them.Mount and scope went on my encore, quick and easy.40mm objective gives you a big, clear view.I believe it to be a great value(got it from the bargain cave). The mount sits high enough for my large thumb to easily access the hammer. It bore sighted easy and shot great, one review said" you'll never get the scope on straight with this mount"I hoped his problem was unique and believe it to be so!excellent value, then again you'll never see an $800 scope on one of my guns."

Scope Good-Rings Not so Good,
January 29, 2009
By Anonymous
from ME
|
"Overall very pleased with the scope. Good Price, and a solid product.
Only complaint was the mounts that came with the scope never could align evenly to have the scope sit in the cradle without being cock-eyed. Sure I could have ratcheted the scope mounts down and it might have fixed the problem but I had an extra set of scope mounts from T/C and they worked no problem."

Dead On,
January 11, 2009
By crittergetter4

"I know sometimes when you pay less you get less, but with this scope no way. I have shot 30 times 5 deer and 15 days of torture and still dead on accurate. I know there are some bad reviews for the lower power versions but this one is rock solid. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not 5, is that you have a 4 inch eye relief which is good but there is not much room to get a full field of view through the scope. But once you get use to it no problems I would buy another one but it looks like they are discotinuing not sure."
