"This radio is a great kitchen/garage/barn radio to have around in case your power is out. I actually did buy it for camping and hunting, but it is to big, sensitive and pricey to be throwing around with gear. On my farm it pretty much rotates from the house to the barn wherever projects pop up and I need something to jam to. The shortwave is very entertaining and works very well if you like the BBC stations. It tunes great and has amazing sound. I went ahead and purchased the GRUNDIG GM300PE for camping and hunting."
