"I bought this case for my A-Bolt 30-06 with scope. Pros: Fits perfectly. Solid construction. Side pocket for ammo & stuff. Attractive colors, logo. Cons: Only drawback handle not positioned for balance when walking"

Well Built As Always,July 10, 2009
By CentralMSHunterfrom Jackson, MS
"The Browning soft gun case I purchased is well constructed and fits my 30-06 w/ scope perfectly. It is well padded and has a convenient pocket on the outside to carry a box of rifle ammo. Exactly what I wanted and expected from Browning."

Will not hold scoped BLR,June 23, 2009
By JRugsfrom Wisconsin
"Just got a BLR Take-down Pistol grip rifle with scope mounted and the case will not hold it. Seems like a nice case otherwise, but it would be great if they could make it to hold their own guns."

"This case looks well made, but because it's brand new, only time will tell how it holds up."

Browning Shotgun case,April 21, 2009
By MWoodsfrom Eldersburg, MD
"Very nice but inexpensive case. The side bag has six elastic bands for choke tubes/shells. It's your basic no frills case with a nice Browning logo. The 52" case fits my Browning BPS Trap perfectly."

Too long,December 5, 2008
By Paul20from West Hennepin, MN
"Along with my Citori White Lightning 20, I got a Browning case for its solid construction, side pocket, and good looks. The Price is favorable. Down side, my gun is 48" long, and the shotgun case came in 52". Not a problem, but a 48" Browning shotgun case would be great. Pheasant blood wipes right off."

I like it,October 29, 2008
By XLjedifrom North Palm Beach, FL
"Bought one for toting my Browning X-Bolt w/scope. It's a 48" case with a slightly larger area where the scope rests.
My rifle and scope fit in it fine. The zipper starts at the muzzle end and zips back toward the butt end of the case where there's also a metal ring.
The zipper itself is metal with a hole in it, and it comes with a little leather pull for the zipper fixed with a rivet. I just pulled that leather thing off the zipper and replaced it with a carabiner so I can snap it to the metal ring to make sure it doesn't accidentally unzip. You could put a luggage lock on there if you prefer.
The muzzle loop is strong enough to hang it from a wall nail with the rifle in it (something that I frequently do).
The pouch on the side is big enough to store a single case of 30-06 ammo, and also includes some sewn in cartridge loops. The big yellow buckmark on the side looks pretty good, although sometimes I feel like I have too many things with a buckmark on it.
The black looks good, but personally, I think I would've preferred maybe a mossy-oak camo style pattern rather than the beige (or light tan) color."
