"Neat little kit in that everything stores within the handle. However, if you screw down both ends of the handle snuggly, it creates a vacuum that requires you to use a pair of pliars to unscrew. Marred up the product trying to unscrew the handle caps after the first use."

Extremely useful for a mini Cleaning Kit,

"I bought this tool specifically to decrease the size of the pistol cleaning kit that I carry in my shooting bag. This mini, multi-piece rod has more than enough length for my pistols and stores in a far shorter area than all the other rods I've ever seen.
The tool is slightly silly in that both end-screw-caps seems to be liquid-proof due to washers built into the cap, but the tip (where the rod screws in) is entirely open. This has no negative impact on the tool and may be a feature designed to keep the caps closed even when subjected to vibration.
I don't need the brushes, just a short patch-rod. I got exactly what I needed."

"this thing is junk. I broke one of the rods first time I used it, and the threads on the end cap are machined so poorly that even if you thread it on right it acts like it is cross threaded and I needed 2 pairs of channel locks to get the darn thing open again...only reason I didn't return it is the brushes fit my larger cleaning kit so keeping the brushes. I just liked the idea of having something small that I could carry in my pocket, but this isn't it."

"This product fits the bill if you require handgun cleaning hardware that fits easily in your case or bag. Works fine on my .22 and 9mm barrels (4 to 5.5 inches in length). Make sure you do not “over-torque” the end cap when you close the kit, (you might damage the installed rubber o-ring). Thank's Cabela's."

"Very small package and convenient storage. It's a convenient little piece to bring to the range to clean the gun right away after shooting. The rods could screw together a bit tighter - there is a lot of play in all the joints when scrubbing a bore."

"I was looking for a gun cleaner for my Cowboy Action 45LC pistols. I wanted something for the range that was small but sturdy. This thing is Great. I leave it in my box at the range and use it at home as well. I'll probable replace the wire brushes with plastic."

"This works as advertised. The only caveat is that it doesn't quite clean every pistol I have. It is not long enough to clean the entire 7.5" barrel of my 45 colt. Just comes up a tad short! Other than that, it works fine!"

"In general an excellent and slick design....I would give it five stars if I didn't have to finish cutting the threads on the brass rod so it would tighten snugly against the aluminum handle. Before doing this the rod was too wobbly in the handle for my comfort."
