"I bought this rod to replace an old aluminum 3-sectioned rod I'd been using for years. It was starting to bend and I didn't trust it anymore. This rod is infinitely better. It's a little long so have plenty of space to maneuver it. It's carbon fiber so it's not going to bend or break. Overall, a great cleaning rod you'll probably never need to replace."

"These are really nice cleaning rods. Been using aluminum sectional rods and the single piece rods with double bearings in the handle are a big difference. The pistol rods are longer than I really need but they aren't too unwieldy. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase."

"This is probably the best rod I have owned. Not only is it carbon fiber so it protects the barrel but it is also built better than many of the others I have tried. There are some good rods out there and you can actually pay more than you will for this one , but you don't always get what you pay for with more expensive gear. It is a step oor two better than the others just in the level of quality and construction."

"I am setting up a gun room at my Hunting Lodge in South Texas.
I bought all five sizes of Tipton rods and two boxes of the 26 Pc. Jag and Brush Sets.
Really great tools. I can't believe I lived my 60 years using rinky-dink three piece aluminum sets.
Tiptons cleaning tools are absolutely the best. They are going to see a lot of work."

"These are the real thing. Take care of your tack driver or go home. I use them on 204's to 300UM. and Tipton brushes and jags to go along with it. Add a bore guide and it is virtually impossibe to scratch your bore with these rods."

"An excellent rod--the carbon fiber rod is sufficiently slick to prevent the build up of bore fouling on it and then transferring it to other areas within the barrel. I bought this rod for my Browning T-Bolt in .17HMR, as I wanted a nonabrasive rod inside that tiny bore. So far the rod has not disappointed. Highly recommend this rod--especially for very smallbore rifle shooters."

"These are the only cleaning rods I use. They spin feely and don't scratch your barrel. I have them in different sizes and different lengths for what ever application I need. If you have a gun to clean, a Tipton Carbon Fiber rod is a must."

"ordered this rod and recieved it with other items ordered in a big long box that the carrier had bent in half at one time.
my rod was snapped in half and I was to say the least a little frustrated. I called cabelas right away and the kindest a nicest lady calmed me down and instructed me on how to return the damaged rod with a no charge return label. she then made sure of my mailing address and said she would send out another rod right away. I said to my self yea right.
To my dismay the new rod arrived 2 days later at my front door. I needed this rod so I could clean and shoot the new .17hmr my wife had bought me. I have been a cabelas customer forever and I will be a customer forever also.
Good job nice lady at customer return."

"This Tipton Rod is by far the best I have seen or used. I have had several one piece rods through the years. Started out with a stainless steel one piece rod that I bought because it was all that was being made at the time.
Then I went to a coated rod. Man, STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They work great the first few times you use them, then they become embedded with grit and fouling and you can't get rid of it short of sanding off the protective coating. I have a savage varmint rifle in .243 cal and 26" bull barrel and I am very picky about it. Keeping accuracy is paramount because I often have 500 plus yard shots at coyotes where I hunt, and I don't need a scratched up barrel to hinder my shot.
Then I found out Tipton made this carbon fiber rod. I have been using it for 2 years now and absolutly love it! It is stiff enough to push some really tight patches through, and flexible enough you wont break anything. The long length really makes things easy for my long barrel. Before, it was hard to find a rod long enough to fit with a bore guide on. This one does with ease. And the handle rotates very smoothly and it very comfortable. This product was a very wise investment, and very high quality!"
