Best Caller I've ever used, February 1, 2009

"This is the absolute best caller I've used on coyotes. It comes with 100 sounds and you can download more into it. It is nice and small which makes it very portable. The romote works over 100 yards away and is very eay to use. I added the optional speaker when I need an extra loud caller. I also added the jack in the box decoy which you can turn on an off from the remote.

I purchased the Johnny Steward caller at $200 that doesn't work half of the time. This caller cost more but Is well worth the money. I was trying to attract a coyote by using on the turkey calls and I actually called in a turkey from over 400 yards away. Being able to adjust the sound or mute the sound right from the remote is a great feature. The remote display is easy to see in the day or night also.

It also comes with a foxpro 5 year warranty."

"I purchased this caller and the sounds are exceptional. If you plan to use the caller within 20ft of the remote, I suggest you buy it. If you want to use the caller like it is sold to do, DO NOT BUY IT."

Where's the Range?, November 13, 2008

"I bought this call for predator hunting. Upon examination I was impressed by the layout of the caller and remote. My buddy was so impressed looking at it that he ordered one as well. When he got his, it woudn't even turn on. Back to the company it went. On mine, I charged up the batteries and headed out to the field. That's where the honeymoon wore off. The range between the remote and the caller is NOT what I had hoped or paid for. I followed the directions to the letter and still have not been able to get more than 60 yards from the call. In many cases I need to get farther away to take advantage of the cover. This just doesn't do it for me. The call does put out clear sounds and I did bring in a nice coyote with it. My only regret is painting it white so it is now not returnable. My next move is to get frequency information from Foxpro and hit up a buddy that's into amateur radio to see if he can increase the gain with a better or larger antenna on both devices. I think Foxpro needs to do a bit more product development BEFORE they put such a high dollar call on the market. Good luck."
