"NOT HAPPY. bought this on a recomendation from a cabelas worker and am returning it right away. can see fine on 20 power but turn it up at all and image gets blurry no matter how much you try to focus. also field of view gets much smaller on higher power but does not zoom at all. Yes I understand field of view gets smaller as you zoom but to actually watch the field of view tighten yet not zoom at all plus not focus is a little much.
I have a couple barska scopes that are great but when it comes to their spotting scopes they just stink....!!"

"If you are like me and do many different things outdoors and don't want to sink the bank in one spot this is the scope for you I am not planning on going bighorn sheep hunting just some ocasional sighting in shooting.This scope has worked fine for me it has a lot of nice features for the price"

"This is a pretty run-of-the-mill spotting scope. If you like products from Zeiss, Swarovski, etc. then this one's not for you. FOR THE MONEY, THOUGH, IT IS AWESOME! When hardly a decent optic can be had for under 375-400 dollars, this scope shines at well under 150. I strongly recommend that you either buy a decent full-size tripod or get one of those bench-rest rifle/spotting scope combo rests. Otherwise, any convenient viewing location will also mean a very easy knock-onto-the-ground location! (at least for me, because I like to spot individual shots without breaking my shooting position. Also, FOV at high magnification means any bump will require re-finding the target which is a pain)
Performance better than expected at this price point, so 4 stars even with just average overall performance. Money well spent.
(And I have dropped it twice. Hasn't broken anything yet!)"

"This scope does not focus at anything over 40 power.
The eye relief (the greatest distance from the rear lens that your eye can be and still see the entire view) is so short that I need to take my glasses off to see anything. I thought the price was too good to be true and it was."

"This spotting scope is ok if you have a solid platform to use it from and if you are spotting something that doesn't move,I haev had the scope for 3 months now and I still have great difficulty following a moving bird, even when it moves from branch to branch in a tree. A broader field would have made it easier to follow something. The tri pod that comes with it is disposable, I upgraded to a better model that I use at the house, I haven't taken it on a hike yet, that will be next month."
