"good consistent patterns works excellent on ducks over decoys also shot geese with it out to 40 yards and dropped em dead havent bought the long range yet I can only imagine what that would do to the geese at those long ranges"

Better than Standard Choke Tube,

"I purchased 2 of these choke tubes for my Beretta Extrema 2's. The long range seemed to shoot better out of my gun, and the mid-range choke shot better out of my son's gun. These choke tubes did shoot a better pattern than the original chokes supplied with the guns using the Black Cloud shells that they were designed for."

"I HAVE READ SOME OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS REFERRING TO THE BLACK CLOUD CHOKE TUBE AND SOME OF THE PEOPLE ARE GIVING IT BAD REVIEWS FOR ONE NOT IDENTIFING THERE MODEL OF GUN THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY THEY DONT FIT OR NOT DOING THE RESEARCH THEMSELVES TO FIND OUT IF IT WILL FIT. SECOND CARLSON AND PATTERN MASTER DO MAKE CHOKES FOR BLACK CLOUD AND SOME OF THE REVIEWS WERE REFERRING TO THE MAKERS OF THOSE SPECIFIC CHOKES THEY ARE NOT I REPEAT NOT A BLACKCLOUD CKOKE. "ordered the carlsons black cloud tube for my benelli, patterned very well the first shot but cracked after 3 shots with black cloud 3 1/2 inch bbb.....dont know if anyone else has had this problem just a warning, check your choke after a few shots."

"The mid range tube has performed excellent in my Benelli,so great that I tossed the patternmaster that I paid twice as much for! Take the time to learn enough about your gun and the chokes it requires and you will get the right one and you will be glad you did. Plain and simple Black Cloud ammo will increase your bag."

Doesn't Fit Beretta A 391 Xtrema,

"Product claims to fit most Beretta Guns but it doesn't fit the Beretta A 391 Xtrema. I thought since it's one of the most popular guns the Choke tube would fit but it doesn't. I don't know how well it performs. Save yourself some money on returning the product, find out if it fits the gun you have before ordering.

"Using the Moderate range choke on my 1187 supermag. Dropped a goose at 50yds dead. Federal claims these choke tubes tighten the pattern by 5%. I have the long range choke as well. Can't even imagine the range that would create. I'm stickin' with these chokes and Black Cloud ammo."

"After getting the right one for my Benelli SBEII, Just a little misleading on the ordering. Customer service was excellent. Fit nice and tight. Haven't shot it with Black Cloud shells but did with #7 lead and once I got the lead right, I was crushing clays farther than ever before. Overall, impressive..."

"I would not recommend this choke for hunters that shoot over decoys. Most of my shots are 15-40 yd range and the Black cloud choke does not get a chance to perform in this range.
Pass shooting and late season shooting is where the choke is worth the money. If you are like me and rely on smart decoy spreads and good calling you should not need this choke. Spend your money on dekes or upgrade your call."

"i absolutly love this chock.on my first day shooting it i decided to shoot at a crow at about 40 yards with 7 1/2 shot shells. i droped the crow and had at least 25 holes from bbs. i think it works very good and cant wait to use the black cloud shells with it tomaro on geese."
