Using the same field-proven, patented shot-forming process that revolutionized nontoxic shotgunning, bismuth nearly duplicates the ballistics and barrel-protecting softness of lead. Though it costs a bit more, bismuth's high performance pays off in belly-up-dead ducks and geese. Soft pellets expand on impact, transferring energy to the target, not through it. Maximum payloads put more high-energy pellets downrange for devastating results, patterning up to 75% denser than comparable tungsten loads. Testing shows that lead choke constrictions apply the same to bismuth, all the way up past extra full. Bismuth can be used in vintage shotguns compatible with modern ammunition. 10 shells per box. Per 10 boxes.

Best Goose/Duck Load,October 30, 2008

"I have extensively used every single type of non-toxic shotshell manufactured, and bismuth tops the list for its LETHALITY on ducks and geese. The birds simply fold up, and chasing down cripples is rare. No load has greater knock-down power or range. Though there are several good waterfowl loads today, none are superior to bismuth. Personal favorites in 12 ga. is 3 1/2 inch BBs for geese and 3 inch 4s for ducks. Bismuth has had several management problems since its beginning, but the actual manufacturer has always been ELEY from the UK."
