General wavers decoy,December 9, 2009
By quaker7076from Wales, UK
"Doesnt work well if the decoy is angled away from your hide, as the two seperate wings, although joined together wont work if not pulled at the same time."

Flares birds like crazy!,November 26, 2009
By kingdr1300from Kelso, WA
"We kill a lot of geese, we know when and how to flag! I bought this just to get that extra edge, first time I had it out bird were flaring like crazy. I mudded the wings, birds still flared. I thought maybe it was our blinds, they looked good, so I decided to take the general down. After taking it down we had literally hundreds of geese landing all around us. I brought it back and bought some more Dakota decoys. Would not recommend!"

Wings very shiny,November 3, 2009
By Poolguy25from Saratoga, New York
"I purchased the general few weeks ago. First thing i noticed is that the wings are made with a very shiny material. On clear sunny days i dont even use it. It even says in the manual that the wings may be to shiny and may need to rub some mud on it. How bout just making the wings out of different fabric so you dont have to rub mud on em. It definately got distant birds attention but some birds ended up flaring at that crucial point. Maybe it was the wings."

Wing Wavers Goose Decoy,March 24, 2009
By DonWaynefrom Rochester, NY
"Appears to be well made and very life like. Simple to use and set up. Should greatly enhance any goose decoy set up by adding needed movement."

Works well in good weather,December 1, 2008
By stlouisbobfrom St. Louis
"I have used the flapper for non-committing geese that have circled away and it has turned them back around to land. I have field hunted geese about six times so far this year and have needed the flapper twice to convince them and it worked like a charm. The only problem is keeping it from catching heavy winds. Some of the flat cornfields here get pretty windy and the flapper flutters almost enough to bring it off the post. It would be nice if there was some white on the wings to make the wings stand out in muddy cornfields. Also, a stronger rip cord might be helpful."
