"So far, so good. This heater is easy to set up, and easy to light. It puts out nice heat in a small area.
I was a bit suprised at how large it was when I first opened it. But have since got used to it."

"I WAS VERY DISSAPPOINTED WITH THE SIZE OF THE HEATER
WAS WAY TO BIG FOR MY BOX DEER STAND. NOT MUCH HEAT UNLESS YOU ARE SITTING RIGHT ON TOP OF IT. THE PAULIN MOD# 5500 WITH 3400 BTU'S PUTS OFF 3 TIMES THE HEAT FOR HALF THE PRICE IF YOU CAN STILL FIND ONE."

"I already owned the Buddy Heater when I bought this. It is quite bulky for its BTU output, compared to the Buddy Heater, and is nearly as big. Also, due to its tall off-center design, it can be somewhat tippy when the propane cylinder is near empty. I bought this for a portable fish house heater, but I think I like the Buddy Heater better. A smaller copy of the Buddy would have been better. However, the quality is equal to other Mr. Heater designs-good."

"The new Base Camp heater is a powerhouse of heat in a fairly compact unit. Instant start-instant heat means no waiting for your heater to slowly warm up. Heat immediately! That means alot on the ice. My old heaters are now in storage."

"I used the heater in my tent. It provided great heat on high 20 F nights. Easy to use and doens't get in the way. Might need to consider something that puts out more heat if camping in sub 0 weather, but other than that, works great."

Great for small space blinds,

"This is the answer to those tight spaces in a duck blind. The 45 degree angle aims heat up towards you. It actually packs pretty well in a backpack with a couple of 16oz. propane cylinders and that makes it easier going into the blind when you're wading through wetlands lugging a bag of decoys and a shotgun. Since our blind has plenty of open ventilation, I really didn't detect any odor. The one button start is a nice feature too. If they do make a case, make it a backpack style that can fit other stuff."

"This is a great heater. Tip over switch and o2 sensor is great to have to stay safe. It's completly silent and gives of a good amount of heat. The discription says it oderless, yes at a distance, but right up close you can smell it. One button on and off are great
one thing I didn't like was the size. I't was alot bigger than it looked in the pics.
Another thing I didn't like was that it didn't come with a case. Even a bag would be nice to protect it from sand and dirt"
