Maintaining proper stock-to-shoulder fit in the real world of flushing pheasants, quail, grouse and fast-flying waterfowl can be tough. So why not stack the odds in your favor with addition of a Speed Bead. The Speed Bead allows both the target and the red dot to remain in focus during the shot. The optics position on the sight plane eliminate the need for perfect left/right/ up/down head position. It has an amazing 3-1/2" to 4-1/2" of eye relief, so there is no reason to worry about your eyebrow running into the sight nor any interference with your gripping hand. To install, simply take off the butt and position the sight directly between the butt and receiver. Place it directly in line with the ventilated rib and shoot away. Operates on one CR-2032 battery (included).

Burris Speed Bead,October 8, 2009
By ShootnReleasefrom Auburn, WA
"With coupons and changing eyes I thought I'd give the Burris Speed Bead a try. Installation was easy on my SBE II and took 15 -20 minutes. Site set up was also easy and took an additional 15 minutes to get the halo inline with the front bead. "Learning" to use it doesn't take too long (about 3 rounds of trap) with the 4th round much improved. It really does force your head and cheek down for better alignment / site picture. You still need to trust your mount and swing (and not let your eye "aim" off the halo image). In another week I'll see if it improves my abilities against things with wings."

"Good product. However, for my eyes - the red dot is almost too bright."

Wow. Love this sight.,May 4, 2009
By johnpatrickfrom BANGOR, PA
"Quickly acquires target. Free's your head because the dot is always on target wether you're head is positioned so your eye is down the rib or not. Small and light. Unobtrusive. Can be used on pistols and mounted on picatinny or weaver rails with proper base. Big Bang for the buck. Love it!"

"This is an awesome product. It is low profile and easy to use. I was not a fan of red dots but this sold me. I have used it for Deer Turkey and waterfowl. You will not be disappointed on this product. It mounts solid and fits nice."

Burris Speed Bead,April 13, 2009
By SamiQ3from Dothan Alabama
"I bought the speed bead for my Rem 870 turkey gun, Sighting in was very easy. It will make you keep your head down on the stock, As a turkey hunter I am in the woods in all kinds of weather, the only complaint I have is the open top, mositure gets in. It came with a small pastic cover to protect the sight and works well to protect the the sight, When weather is wet and each time I move to set up, I have to put on and take off the cover, but only in wet weather, on good days I leave the cover off while in the field and keep it in my pocket. I have banged it a few times in the woods, sight didnt move. On and Off switch it very accessible and easy to operate. I only give it 4 stars because of the water being able to get in from the top."

A wonder for old eyes.,November 18, 2008
By one3006from I am retired and have hunted for years.
"At one time I was a good trap and wing shot but now that I am over 70 my eyes have a hard time focusing on the forward bead and the target. The Speed Bead is a wonder. Every thing is on the same plain. I liked it so much that I have ordered a second Speed Bead for a second gun."

changing shotgunning forever,October 16, 2008
By futureturkeykillerfrom PA
"got by SBEII and saw this product. I wanted a gun that I could use a sight on with one eye closed for turkey hunting. Used this set up for a couple of rounds of sporting clays. tells you exactly what you did wrong on a shot! makes you keep your head down! This product will really help a beginner understand a moving sight picture! They should produce this for over/under shotguns and it will change sporting clays forever! I now have a gun that can do it all, turkeys, ducks, pheasants! I don't have to rip off a scope after turkey hunting if I want to go duck or pheasant. Like I said they should seriously think about producing this product for over unders, (thats what I use mainly for sporting clays). Look what happened to handgunning, everyone in fast fire competition uses this type of sight."
