"This turned out to be a great case. The padding is thick and the extra pockets are nice to hold some of the smaller things I would normally put into my shooters bag. I use it to hold a Howa 1500 .308 with a fairly large scope. The scope is in a high mount with a 44mm objective diameter. The zipper just barely makes it around the scope. If the scope was any bigger it would not fit in the case. I had to remove the bipod to get it to fit though. I wasn't disappointed that the bipod would not fit, I expected that. This is probably the finest of all the soft cases I own and I would not hesitate to purchase it again."

"Great case for transporting your rifle to the range or out to the field. The padding seems to be a little on the thin side, despite the padding description in the write-up.
The pockets are a bit small, but they still fit ammo and a few accessories (extra 2 mags for my .22LR).
Great buy for the money (got it on sale), and it looks better in person than in the photo"

"Thank you Cabela's. The Remington gun case is awesome. On my Remington I have see-thru mounts and a bi-pod. My gun fits perfectly in this case. I have had troubles in the past with trying to get my gun to fit in other cases. Not any more and the side pockets are perfect for putting hearing protection and ammo into on the way to the range. Thanks again Cabela's."

"Great case for transporting your rifle to the range. Not a lot of padding, but it seems to cover the needs.
The pockets are a bit small, but they still fit a Boresnake and a few accessories (extra mag or 2, depending on the gun).
Great buy for the money, and it looks better in person than in the photo."

"Very good quality for the money, but barely fits a long action rifle. It's not noted in the description, but you can use this soft case with a harris bipod attached. I'd have given this product 5 stars, but they skimped, just barely, on the length."

"I had purchased a rem. 11-87 sportsman shotgun with a shurshot camo stock, rifled slug barrel with a cantilever scope mount. I mounted a 3x9 leupold shotgun scope, and with the shurshot stock it was hard to find a soft gun case to fit that combination. I had seen the rem. scope cases on sale in cabela`s e-mail bargain cave, it looked like the rifle case would work. I got on the phone and called cabela`s customer service. They got me in touch with a sales rep. who gave me the specs. on the case, as he was giving them to me I was measuring my shotgun. It fit great, with no trouble zipping up and plenty of storage in the side pockets. Thanks for the help, Cabelas is a great place to shop"

"I bought this case for my Remington 700 SPS. The gun barely fits in the case, but this is due to the added muzzle break and recoil pad. The case itself is very well constructed and seems to provide quite a bit of protection. The pockets are an added benefit and they are the reason I choose this case over other cases. It just would have been nice to have another inch or two in the case, that's my only complaint. The case is well worth the money."

"A bit tight inside if weapon is rigged for more than a small scope. My Mini-14 w/3-9x32 scope and bipod, is a bit cramped. Pockets and sewing seem quite sufficient, w/long sturdy sling; time will tell."

"This gun case is very well made considering its price. It has heavy padding, heavier than any other case I have. It has nice handles and strong zippers, and it even looks good. If you are looking for a good case at a good price, this one is a good buy. The only way to do better is to go to the very high end canvas cases, which are three times the price."

"I now have several of these - plenty of room for scoped Rem 700; scoped Marlin 444 lever; and others. Usable and well sealed pockets, durable carry handles in addition to adjustable sling carry strap. Well padded, has a lockable zipper to keep it from accidental opening, great case for the range or field."
