"The boots are very well made and warm. They are a bit more bulky than I had envisioned by the picture on the website. The tongue could fit a little better inside of the top of the boot. Overall I really do like the boots. They are extremely warm."

Great Winter Boot from Irish Setter,

"I work allot in the winter as a logging supervisor and tough, warm boots are a must in -35 C weather. For a relatively lightweight boot these boots are very warm. I would recommend these boots to anyone that spends any amount of time in cold weather."

"I have worn these boots in 0 degree weather and in a 70 degree room. My feet stayed warm and dry. I am extremely impressed with the design and overall comfort of these boots. These boots are light and not extremely bulky. A good price for such a great value!"

"I have worn these boots for 8 to 12 hours at atime when icefishing and predator hunting. They have kept my feet warm and dry in -20 temps and comfortable sitting and walking for long periods time. I would recomend Snow Claw XT's to any outdoors person."

"These boots are super lite and super warm. I feel these boots are designed with the treestand hunter in mind as well as the occasional get down and walk around type of hunter. I have other boots that without a doubt are twice the weight.

"This is a preliminary review as I bought these at the end of the season after doing a lot of research. I usually wear a size 8.5/9 shoe, but ordered the size 10 boot. With warm socks, they fit great. I only walked around a little bit so far, but they are not stiff at all. I think this is one of the better cold hunting boots on the market. I also like that it doesn't have a separate inner liner."

"Irish Setter might have created the best cold weather boot in the new Snow Claw XTi. The boots are very lightweight and provide stellar traction in icy conditions and when ascending tree stands. The thinsulate was distributed very well throughout the boot, not focused in the ankle and calf area as other manufactures tend to do. Walking was also a dream in these boots due to their minimal weight and construction. While still, or stand, hunting in cold weather conditions, the Snow Claw XTi boots should be your first, and only choice to keep your feet warm."

"Good quality but a little bit bulky. My feet stay warm when walking, but my toes have gotten cold after sitting in a tree stand for a few hours. I have used them in tempratures from about 15-40 degrees and my feet start getting cold after a few hours. I did try putting some toe warmers in and they worked fine."

"I got these boots right before Illinois second gun season in 2008. With temperatures in the low 20's for the high, these boots worked great. They not only kept my feet warm(with only cotton socks on) but they are lightweight and very comfortable for a bigger boot. I wear a size 12 and ordered a 12 and they fit great. I would recommend this boot to anyone who hunts in cold weather.
I have tried other boots and this time I went with the high dollar product and it was worth every penny."

"Best hunting boots I have ever owned. Comfortable, relatively light way, and warm. The boots are easy to slip on and off. Tieing the laces is a little awkward the way the lace cleats are positioned, but they do work."

"I work construction in Iowa and also love to hunt. These boots are perfect for working on freezing cold concrete as well as sitting in your treestand for a few hours in below zero temps. My feet really sweat, but my socks are dry at the end of the day. They are warm, comfortable, but not too bulky- not like normal 2000 Gram boots. Well worth the money."

"A very well made product. Make sure that you order a full size bigger if you wish to wear a thick hunting sock. I've never had boots with this much thinsulate before, makes the feet very toasty. The tread pattern is very aggressive so unless your on a sheet of wet ice you need not fear slipping. I would highly recommend this product and will seek out this brand in the future."
