"I was delighted when I put them on for the first time and made my very first steps on the carpet as advised. The boots are far away better then I expected: very nice and comfortable, plus they are extremely sturdy. Oh yeah!
I haven't tested them yet on real cold weather and downpour, but they look like they are able to fit the bill because I already have similar pair of Cabela's Dry-Plus 200 gr. Thinsulate winter mocs which I wore on cold and rainy days this season and my feet were warm and completely dry all the time with no adverse effects on materials. And those new Winter Oxfords look at least twice more sturdier!
Size 11 1/2 boot fits a size 11 1/2 foot. Very good value for the dollar. Looking forward for years of wearing.
Just like it says on the box: "Cabela's The Best Footwear... "

"Just returned from two weeks in Alaska, during which my Cabela Winter Oxfords got a complete workout. They proved to be warm, comfortable and the perfect shoe to wear about in town and other areas where snow removal takes place. Despite the warmth they provided outdoors, they were comfortable to wear around inside, as well.
This shoe is well conceived and built. For the most part, boots are overkill when in areas where snow is removed on even an occasional basis. The oxford fills that bill precisely, giving good traction and coverage, as well as keeping Jack Frost at bay.
When these wear out, they will be replaced by the same make and model!"

"I'm wearing these right now. They are comfortable and roomy, and the laces slide easily through the eyelets, so they're easy to tighten. They were a very decent price for waterproof, insulated, leather winter shoes. They keep my feet from getting too cold walking around in the winter weather."

"This is a good looking pair of walking shoes. They are warm on these winter days and keep your feet dry all the way to the gunnels. When you sit or stand with them they are nice and comfortable.
However, once you begin to walk in them the heavy insulation above the knuckle of the foot bends and doubles itself down onto the top of the toes. This is uncomfortable in the extreme and unless you stop walking after a mile or two you will come home with blood on the sock above the big toe. At least this is what happens to me.
It may be an aboration due to workmanship. On my new pair it takes place on the left foot, but is bearable on the right as long as you have a bulky sock or two pairs of socks."
